My Reviews
Noia Fox
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This new version of Noia will work fine for my uses and ease my upgrade to FF4 on many machines. It livens up the icons without using the overbearing Personas that Mozilla seems to want to use. I really wondered if there would be a version for FF4 due to the rancor between the previous developer and Mozilla. Seems there was some sort of security issues and the developer complained bitterly and uselessly about having to curtail settings adjustments or some other issue that nobody really understood or cared about. So far this version has worked fine on WinXP, Vista, MacOS 10.6, Ubuntu 10, and even with the TenFourFoxG3 browser for an old Mac PPC Laptop that can't run Mozilla's FF4.
Shades of the Microsoft Ribbon mess - Now, when I set the tabs back to where they've been for 5 years, and the Home, Stop, Refresh buttons to their usual locations, and turn the Add-on Bar back on, I can just work with the faster code that Mozilla touts, without getting distracted by their arbitrary changes.
You've made my day :)
