1. When Firefox is first started on OS X, the Bluehell icon does not appear. If you close FF (red dot) and then reopen it, the icon appears.
2. If the icon is used to turn Bluhell off, and ff is then closed (red dot) and reopened, the Bluhell icon will always be blue, although Bluhell is actually still turned off. Clicking the icon twice will get it back in sync.
Once you learn these two tricks, the function works well, except on Yahoo webmail, as previously reported.
The 'support section' link just points to the add-on description; no method for reporting bugs is provided, other than within these reviews, where bug reports are discouraged.
BTW, the Contribution button didn't work for me; after clicking the "Make Contribution" on the popup window, the popup vanished and the FF window had a grey veil over it and ignored input.

Hello,

What Firefox version are you using? The first problem you describe looks like a known Firefox bug in older versions (Ie, pre-CustomizableUI era) but i only heard about that problem when upgrading Firefox, though.

as for issue 2, Bluhell doesn't remember the on/off state when shutting down Firefox, therefore it should always be turned on when starting the browser, which could indicate a minor incompatibility with the version you're using.

You can get in touch with me through dcasorran/at/gmail.com if you want to troubleshot these issues.

Btw, the contribution button issue is caused by having 3rd-part cookies blocked.

Cheers.

I would give this 5 stars, except that it causes significant repainting problems with Yahoo webmail, my main email provider. With Bluhell on, when a message is sent or reading of an existing message is ended by clicking the 'X' in its upper right corner, the containing mail folder is not redisplayed, i.e. the iframe in which it would appear remains blank. Selecting other mail folders at this time has no effect; the area in which their contents would be displayed remains blank. Turning off Bluhell restores proper operation.
I note that reviews are not supposed to contain bug reports, but I've found no other way contact the author.

My rating represents a personal opinion, reflecting my own specific situation. I spend much of my web time doing email. My email provider (Yahoo!) uses a large number of ads, many of which are obnoxiously animated. Bluhell would be extremely valuable to me, but I have to turn it off when using email because it seriously interferes with that use. If I could get directly in touch with the developer, we might be able to correct this situation and I would revise my rating. If you do not use Yahoo! email, you will probably find Bluhell to be an excellent choice.
