Calendar Tweaks
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Warning: the integration of "Lightning" into Thunderbird (78.2.2) no longer allows "Calendar Tweaks" to function properly. Had to roll my Thunderbird back to an earlier version (along with an earlier version of my profile) to get "Calendar Tweaks" back the way it was (a very good add-on). Won't upgrade Thunderbird again until the problem is fixed.

Warning: Lightning isn't compatible with the most recent version of Thunderbird 78.2.2. Or, if it is now integrated, that integration doesn't allow the add-on, "Calendar Tweaks", to function properly.

I rolled Thunderbird back to a version before 68.0 just to use this add-on. (Had to get an old Thunderbird profile off of a backup computer, since 68.0's upgrade didn't allow for a profile roll-back to a previous version.) I now have Thunderbird set to NEVER update in the future...not good, but this add-on made Thunderbird useful for me. Or, does anyone know of similar add-ons that work with 68.0?

Doesn't work with 68.1. A real loss for me to the point of thinking of getting rid of Thunderbird. Will this add-on be updated?

As of 3/24/18, the current version of this add-on caused me to receive web attacks of the Trojan, "JSCoinminer Download 8", on all websites visited. The name is that as described by my Symantec firewall, which blocked the attacks. (By disabling each add-on in Firefox, one at a time, I was able to pin-point the problem to this add-on, specifically. By disabling this add-on, the attacks stop.)
(The message below in German also points out the same problem.)
EDIT: In speaking with Mozilla after writing the above, I discovered that the previous version of this add-on (Version 8.5) does NOT cause any attacks. So, I've rolled back the add-on to that previous version, and that fixes the problem. I've also disabled the automatic update feature so that the newer version with the problem won't automatically download.
I hope the developer fixes the problem, and lets us know when it is fixed. I had been using this add-on for several months, had no problem with it prior to today, and found it useful.
