Add-ons Manager - Version Number (discontinued)
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is an excellent work-around in SeaMonkey 2.38 for bug #1175324. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1175324. Not only does it expose extension version numbers but also theme version numbers.
I call this a "work-around" because changes to the Add-ons Manager in the Toolkit might require ongoing changes to this extension.
NoGlass
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I am using the NoGlass 0.10 theme with Thunderbird 31.0 and the Theme Font & Size Changer extension 31.2. They seem to work together quite well.
Paenglab: Good work, and thanks.
Get/Send Button
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I consider this extension to be required with the installation of the Send Later extension. However, the MagicSLR option "Ask me if I want to send my unsent messages" at shutdown actually sends them at the next startup. Functionality for this at shutdown is really needed.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.9.1).Remember Passwords
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
With Remember Passwords 1.0.1 disabled, I deleted the saved passwords for my Web accounts at four different financial institutions. I then logged-in at those accounts. For one of those accounts, my password was saved as I logged-in. For the other three, I successfully logged-in; but my passwords were not saved.
I then enabled Remember Passwords 1.0.1. For the three accounts were my password was not previously saved, it was now saved. This includes two accounts that use split logins.
For all four accounts, I can now use the saved passwords.
PrefBar
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I installed PrefBar 6.0.1 for SeaMonkey 2.2 in all four profiles that I use, replacing PrefBar 5.1.1 (which was tweaked to enable it for SeaMonkey 2.2). Preliminary testing indicates it is working well. Existing buttons from PrefBar 5.1.1 -- including some that a custom created myself -- still work appropriately.
When restarting SeaMonkey (required as part of the installation), an enabled Internet connection was requested so that http://prefbar.tuxfamily.org/ could be accessed.
Preserve Download Modification Timestamp

This extension works in SeaMonkey exactly the way I would want it to work. Yes, I had some problems at first; but they were caused by me not setting the correct options. I think better instructions are needed. The few options -- two checkboxes and the "Log verbosity" selection list -- need to be explained. I still think Mozilla bug #178506 should be implemented as originally proposed, which included a user option for this capability.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2010.09.12.18.1-signed.1-signed).Show Password On Input
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This works with SeaMonkey 1.1.7 as requested in bug report #232050.
I originally reported that it does not work with SeaMonkey. Foolish me! I forgot to terminate and restart SeaMonkey. It does work, and I feel stupid.
The code was peer-reviewed by Nils Maier as repored in the thread "Extension Needs Review" (started 25 December 2007) in .
