I loved this addon... until it stopped working. Since a few months ago it simply does not show anything. It does not have anything to do with some incompatibility with other addons, disabling all of them but this, and with the Thunderbird default theme, it does not work. I guess it might have something to do with the new versions of Thunderbird, but I don't see anybody else complaining here. Very strange, but the fact is that for me it's like if I didn't have it installed.
EDITED: I love it again... I found out that it didn't work because somehow the Global search and indexer had been disabled. Fixed.
ThunderBird Default for Vista

Guys, this theme is meant to work only with Thunderbird 1.5 and 2.0, but you can cheat and make it to install it even if you have a newer version. Just a few easy steps:
1 - Rename the file thunderbird_default_for_vista-2.0-tb.jar to thunderbird_default_for_vista-2.0-tb.zip.
2 - From thunderbird_default_for_vista-2.0-tb.zip extract the file install.rdf.
3 - Edit the extracted install.rdf file with any text editor such as Notepad.
4 - Modify the line 14, from:
2.0
to:
2.0.0.14
(2.0.0.14 or the Thunderbird version you has).
5 - Save the file.
6 - Add install.rdf to the thunderbird_default_for_vista-2.0-tb.zip file, replacing the existing one.
7 - Rename the file thunderbird_default_for_vista-2.0-tb.zip to thunderbird_default_for_vista-2.0-tb.jar.
8 - Install the theme.
That's it.
