ThunderBrowse
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
This add-on works nicely when it works, but then sometimes it doesn't work (e.g. when the web site you visit has Flash or other animations). Even when it works it is not a huge convenience so taken together I would rather not have the trouble than have it.
Oh yeah another downer (at least for TB 6). When you disable it and you have a URL in your mail that you want to visit, nothing happens. Get Zero when you click on it. I'm not sure whether that's Thunderbrowse's fault but when I did not have it I never got this behavior.

So this App only works for docs on line that you are currently viewing through a browser (including non-Chrome browsers)? If that's the case then my question is irrelevant and thanks Adon for clarifying this for me.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.1-signed.1-signed). This user has a previous review of this add-on.Google Docs Viewer (PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, etc...)

Why would people intentionally send all their (confidential or not) docs to Google so that they will be sent back to be read on their home machine? Are we to believe that a copy does not remain at Google Inc and used by Google? Have you read Google's new code of privacy? -- It says that they can collate information from all their sources including all the docs you send to them through this viewer.
