About this Add-on
In our company, we use an internal time registration system (German: Zeiterfassungssystem). To automatically transfer all email work (elapsed time, to edit and send an email to a customer), we created this Mozilla Thunderburd Add-On, since there was no adequate extension around. In the extension preferences you can activate or deactivate the extension and define a webserver URL. Everytime an email is sent, this url is asynchronously called with the following populated GET-parameters: subject (String), to (email or comma separated list of emails), from (email), edit_time (elapsed edit time in minutes), worker_id (numerical user id, free of use).
The extension consists of a preferences dialog, a status-bar info (activation sign), account name context menu extension and the transparent compose window business logic.
