アドオンありがとうございます。
先日、Thunderbird78.9.0をアップデートしたところ、confirm-address1.3.7で以下不具合が出ております。

「送信」ボタンを押下し、カウントダウンが開始されたところで送信画面以外のブラウザや別ソフトを閲覧するとポップアップの画面が消えてしまい、その後カウントダウンも停止するため、送信が進まない。
こちらは仕様でしょうか？
何か解決策があるようであればご教示ください。

それは仕様です。
そもそも、カウントダウンは「送信先や本文の内容に間違いがないか、最後の確認」の為に入れた機能でした。別ソフトにフォーカスを移すのであればその確認作業をしないわけですから、カウントダウン機能を使う必然性がありません。

While countdown, switching to another software interrupts countdown and the email will not be sent is totally fair, I would say: the final confirmation, that's why countdown feature is for. If you don't need extra-confirm, you needn't to enable countdown.
