It was excellent extension and it would be nice to see it updated or developed by other programmer.

Too bad... seems like such a simple thing, since the button only has to execute the same code as the menu command, but apparently not or else you'd think someone else would have come along and figured out how to update it. I took a peek, but quickly got lost (ianap)...

This is very helpful, thank you.
It would be good to add a possibility to copy all the header tags at once (including tag names).

You can also view the complete header through:
View -> Headers -> All
either in the main window or a separate message window.
Why oh why doesn't Mozilla just give us the button to save us time instead of letting us wait for weeks, months, ever for somebody else to do the work.
The Bat is getting to look better and better all the time.
Five stars because I _had_been_ using this for 3 or more years! Minus 2 stars because there's no update for TB 3.0.

Answer (fdservices & others):
an update to TB3.0 would be nice.
By pushing only ctrl-u you can get the message source ... and at the beginning you will see the complete message header!
By the way: an additional advantage is that the message remains UNREAD. That's useful for spam & junk.

I have moved to T3, and hope this addon does too!

very convenient to show headers, but:
a) needs vertical scroll. There are more headers than fit in my maximized window, yet I can't scroll down see the rest.
b) selection: CTRL+A should select all so I can copy headers, but it doesn't .

Please, please update this for TB 3.0, it is too good to do without.

This is great practical extension. Please update it to TB 3.0. Bumping doesn't work.

Version 2.0.1 works otherwise as supposed to, but after installing, message-headers doesn't show up at all - user needs to do some toggling first (which takes one star away).
With quick-check I didn't find anything "phone-home"-related in the code. Altho, I didn't look thru all the localization files.
@Cobratek:
User isn't supposed to "figure out" something that's not proper behavior. Like why their message headers are missing totally. It's a flaw in the addon, which should be *at least* mentioned clearly somewhere - without forcing the user to read something like user comments. (I personally hate it when coder/experienced user fails/denies to realize that not all of the people are as they when it comes to experience/logic levels)

First, the documentation is not clear on how to use it. After installing the addon, one has to add the button to the toolbars manually. And to each window individually. Perhaps this is normal behaviour but it was not mentioned up front.
Second, since installing it I've noticed the simple mail headers are getting messed up. Displaying a msg in main window with only the regular header info, then selecting a different msg, the regular header info is not updated. I noticed the "sender" field did not change. This is very poor!

To those whom say the headers all disappeared:
This is a TOGGLE, click it and watch what happens!
This is a handy tool - I like to use it when reporting header information from phishing attempts. I don't have to view the source, just toggle the headers on and off.

This Add-on attempts to connect to joshandmerci.com via Port 80. I see no reason for a simple button to do this, and would strongly recommend against using it for this reason alone!

It works as expected (it's true that the first time you load the addon, the headers disapear for a while, but then it works great). Simple and functional.

Same problem as others. After installing, HEADERS DISAPPEAR COMPLETELY.
It's not at all obvious that you need to actually place the button on the tool bar to see *ANY* headers. Not sure if you actually have to use the button once or not.

First it seemed it does not work with 2.0.0.18. The headers disappeared completely and no button was shown after the installation. But after I added the buttons to the tool bars and switched the modes the header appeared again. Only problem is that the headers are fixed (not scrollable). So some display errors occur with long headers and small windows.

Test on TBird 2.0.0.17 (20080914) - all ok.
