Some sites use JavaScript to override forward slash key for their search. Just click on YesScript toolbar icon to put them on black list and you'll have your keyboard shortcut back.
Simple as that.

doesn't work in Iran at all. Too much bells and whistles and no actual output. proxies didn't even change no matter how many times you clicked on them.

not simple at all! complex and disturbing settings and one can't even find the time interval setting easily
