My Reviews
Google UK
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
For a long time, perhaps a year, this add-on worked well, then everything except the search results was in an alphabet that I don't recognise. I would like to report the bug, but the developer hasn't left contact details. Categorize add-on lets me enter a keyword for Google UK followed by a search term in the Firefox Address (or is it called 'Awesome' now) Bar. So I don't need this nearly anonymous add-on and I've removed it.
Oxford Dictionaries

I disagreed with de Wtp so strongly that I downloaded this add-on immediately. I'd been waiting for Mozilla to review it because I'm not sure I'd know what to do if something went wrong. Several people have downloaded it without feeling the need to come back and rant - so I gave it a go.
Oxford Dictionaries (formerly AskOxford) website does indeed offer a free search. This add-on allows you to use it from your toolbar.
It installed easily and I looked up two words (hardly a thorough test I know but if I leave it then I'll lose the page for writing my review). It's really convenient to be able to look up a word in a dictionary without having to open a web page first.
David Francis, you've recently appeared on the scene with a few online searches, and you're very welcome.
