Blocked attachments do not open, but it is possible to save them, and subsequently open separately from thunderbird. There is not enough function to completely block prohibited attachments, without the possibility of not only opening, but also of saving them.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7).To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
