Download Status Bar
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Excellent, must-have add-on! However, not rated five stars because I think option to show most recent downloads at the top of the list would be a significant improvement!
Lightning
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Ok, I found a way to make Lightning in Thunderbird 3 work for Google Calendar (sorry for all those who would consider it "too obvious").
1 - Download Nightly Lightning builds for your O.S. at this page: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/lightning/download.html
2 - Install it in Thunderbird
3 - Add a new Calendar and choose the options "on the network" --> "CalDAV"
4 - Enter the location of your calendar (https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/YOUR_EMAIL_ADDRESS/events)
Done!
