Speed Dial
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
As of Firefox version 52.0.2, Speeddial is still locking up periodically. It's getting better, but this is enough of an annoyance that I disabled the add-on. I will look at the support section for that app in hopes of finding a fix.

I really like this extension and have been using it for years. However, with the latest update to Firefox 47.0.1, I have narrowed down a problem to Speed Dial.
After about 5 minutes of use, Firefox locks up (Not Responding) and takes another 10 minutes to recover. I did a Recovery restart and turned on each extension one at a time until I was able to get it to repeat the lock up. Sadly, it was Speed Dial version 0.9.6.18 causing the problem. I hate to go back to an older version, so if there is a fix in the works, I would use it.

I have been using Speeddial for a few ears now. I keep adding pages and links, and am up to 10 pages, nearly all full 3x3. I have started noticing Firefox hangs for "no apparent reason". Well, the reason seems to be the number of dials I am loading at a time. I will have to go back and see which ones I REALLY need and possibly adjust the refresh times.
Great product, and it's difficult for me to use any browser without it.
Thanks,
Mark L.
Provider for Google Calendar

It would seem it is possible to sync Google Calendar with Thunderbird. You WILL require the Lightning Add-On. It sure would have been nice if someone published the answer instead of the vague "I know but you don't" reply...
So here it is:

Substitute Thunderbird for Sunbird, and the directions work fine.
PS. Save your $10 Provider support fee for a beer.
