My Reviews
IE Tab Plus (FF 5+, 4+, 3.6+)
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Fortunately I don't really need to use this add-on much, but when I have done so it seemed to work very well.
One interesting thing you can also use it for is viewing Windows XPS (XML Paper Specification) format files. This can be enabled by adding "xps" to the Site Rules for local files. In other words, just change the default "(mht|mhtml)" part in the rule to "(mht|mhtml|xps)",
Afterwards when Windows' XPSViewer.exe attempts to open the file in your default browser, if that's FireFox, it will automatically switch to the IE rendering engine and display the file after it starts up. Sweet!
TB Reset Quote Header Extension
Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I tried all of the suggestions list here, but it does nothing.
Too bad...almost exactly what I was looking for.
I wish TB had something built-in that provided this functionality -- people have been requesting it for years, it seems.
Signature Switch
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Overall works as advertised, I guess, but I'd like it a whole lot better if it would put the signature in the same place I specify for auto-quoting placement in Thunderbird's Account Settings / Composition & Addressing -- in particular, above the quote as others have mentioned.
Another improvement would be for it to support different settings for different email accounts. One size doesn't fit all...
