My Reviews
Dictionary Switcher
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I am using Dictionary switcher with Thunderbird 17 on Kubuntu 12.04. I can reproducibly get the problem with a hanging app (max CPU load) when I turn on the "autodetect" feature. (extensions.dictionary-switcher.autodetect) and just start typing a few letters into the subject line of a newly opened e-mail.
If I turn off the autodetect feature, I can do the same thing without any problem. (Tested 3 times both ways.)
Sorry to post here, as I cannot see how to contact the developers, nor where to file a bug or find the forum -- at least there is no hint on this web page.
AttachmentExtractor
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I think this is a great extension!
The concept is very good, and I LOVE all the little settings and tweaks go can give to it.
I have, however, very tough luck with attachments sent from Apple Mail. I simply cannot get detach/delete them. Neither TB built-in nor the experimental Attachment Extractor routine works.
attachspace

If I click "preferences" in the extension list dialog, I receive an error message (TB 2.0.0.14 on Linux). Apparently, a previous poster has already described the same error ("Silberschwarz" on June 17).
Should this be a "1.0" with an obvious, major bug like this?
Persistent Read-Only Calendars
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Finally, I have control over which calendars can be modified and which ones are read-only.
Thanks to Norbert, we have one thing less to be worried about.
Cheers.
