This add-on needs to "Have full, unrestricted access to Thunderbird, and your computer". It's a useful add-on but I can't accept that and thus reluctantly had to disable it.

This add-on needs to "Have full, unrestricted access to Thunderbird, and your computer". I think this is a big ask considering what is expected of this app. Would have rated it 5 stars if it weren't for that.

I'm sure this add-on is a great extension to have but why so many permissions are required for this add-on to work is beyond me. "Read and modify your address books and contacts", really? It's so unclear what these permissions really allow. I don't understand why Mozilla is not clarifying this better.

This add-on adds a nice useful button to TB (it's really not much more though and one can wonder why this is not included in the built-in options of TB) but to achieve this, this add-on requires PERMISSION to "Have full, unrestricted access to Thunderbird, and your computer".
I really don't understand why so many Thunderbird extensions require this sort of permission for such simple tasks. Even if the developer is not malicious, this kind of permission opens-up a door.

Why does this very simple add-on ask permission for "full, unrestricted access to Thunderbird and your computer" ?

Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Great add-on, I really wonder why this is not factory built in TB. Many thanks to the developer!
Ideas:
(1) It would be nice to have an option to align left the buttons as well (mine align to the right)
(2) It would be great to have the "unavailable functions" in a message (such as "Smart reply" when there's just one recipient) being greyed-out instead of removed, so that the order and placement of buttons doesn't change from one message to another.
Thanks again!

This add-on is an absolute must for me, I realize this now that it no longer works with TB 78. Thank you very much for the coming update, I'm patiently waiting for it!

This addon does not work. At least not with the recent versions of TB. I need to create lists of clients using complex email searches from within my messages directories. My wish is to make a search, select all messages found in the search, right click them and see an option to export all "recipients" and/or "senders" to a csv file or text file or whatever simple list format to create lists and/or to a TB address book. Anyone able ? This is really missing.

Where can I find a simple and detailed method of creating buttons with this addon? I'm not a programmer (but I'm not a newbie either) so I need instructions!!

Seems to work well, but the toolbafr button lacks customization options, it's too big and it eats up a lot of screen real estate. A pop up listing the options would work better for me as unique tool bar button for this extension. Another thing, where are the emails stored after your "send them later" ? they are not in the "unsent" folder.
If those two things where corrected, I'd give it 4 or 5 stars.
Thanks

It's a GREAT extension, but it does make TB hang and even crash. Please fix it, I'd love to use it, I deactivated it until the code is reviewed and updated.
EMail Address Crawler
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I think this addon is very useful although it misses the important feature of being able to save the crawled result as a text file or csv file to import directly into another email system or program without the need to export form the Thunderbird address book. This option would give a lot of extra power to this tool and all the freedom to the user.

This addon is useful but it's a real weakness that the keys are not configurable but the user. This is especially true for the use of the "J" key that is already configured by defaults in ThunderBird to send the selected email to the Junk folder. Now suddenly with this addon installed, the key becomes a "move selection" command. That's weird. Why not allow the user to assign his own key to the command? Much more complicated? Thanks anyways for your work, I'm still going to use the addon but I'm hoping for an update to solve this problem.

Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Could you explain a little more what this extension does ?
I'm looking for something that will allow renaming windows titles, both for the windows AND its occurrence in the taskbar. I'm so much looking forward to replacing the useless "Compose:" I see everywhere in my taskbar with something more relevant like the title of the email message being composed....

Regarding my last comment, I'm sorry, it does work in the igoogle page, where it does not work is in my igoogle sidebar addon, that is where i would like it to work, as this is the place form which I access my igoogle widgets.
thx

This add-on would have been perfect for me BUT, sadly, each time I download messages it seems to rebuilt it's library. I manage a very large amount of mail, this library (or index) building process takes forever and it significantly slows down my Thunderbird application making it useless to use. I uninstalled the add-on but I really hope this will be fixed so I can install it again and use it in the future.

Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I installed this update hoping to be able to use it to save email messages in Thunderbird. It does not seem to do that as I only get the FavLoc options when I want to save attachments. I rarely need to do this. But I very ofter need to save email messages in folders of my office network. So this addon does not work for me, I do not understand why message saving is not enabled in the addon, it would then have been perfect for me then.
