When I first switched to Linux, one of my main concern was downloading materials. I switched many download managers until I found this one. It is one of my must have add-on.
It is a full feature download manager. I think it works even better than IDM or so.

This is a very good extension. It's integrated into the Firefox download dialog as an option, and its retry capabilities can complete a download even if there is a connection failure.

Really good download manager!
Supports limiting the download speed, pausing, resume, etc.
Also supports downloading linked files on webpages, galleries, ..
A must have!

This is a must have addon. It's too bad Mozilla is heading towards killing off this and countless more addons by removing XUL support, and morphing into Chrome clone.
Unpublished v3 beta is much more useful then current v2, but unfortunately it suffers from bug that affects how manager window looks and function on Windows 10.
The support is non-existing for these who don't have an account on DTA bug tracker, new accounts don't get activation email, any emails I've sent went into a void with no return.
For these who is using DTA v3.0b6+ on Windows 10, install this in addon in parallel with DTA:

ottima estensione, se la connessione a internet è sufficentemente veloce, riesce veramente a velocizzare il download dei file (ovviamente se la connessione è lenta, non può far miracoli e probabilmente la velocità sarà la stessa di quando usate il normale download di firefox).
però la versione 3 attualmente in beta.. quando è prevista per il rilascio?? la sto attendendo con ansia perchè introduce nuovi cambiementi davvero comodi per me, come ad esempio la nuova interfaccia, che consente di aggiungere o rimuovere segmenti premendo un pulsante, e quindi velocizza di molto il procedimento, piuttosto che usare il menu a tendina.

Estava precisando de uma ferramenta para baixar minhas próprias fotos do meu Flickr. Por meio da ferramenta flickandshare, meio caminho estava completo, que foi completado pela extensão DownThemAll.
Com um clique fui capaz de colocar todas as mais de 800 fotos para baixar de uma vez, em uma interface limpa e amigável. Ainda não experimentei todos os recursos, mas parece que é possível pausar o download para retomar mais tarde, além de alterar a prioridade dos arquivos na fila.
Enfim, recomendo.

very helpful tool, was downloading firmware from sammobile regular download it's very slow and cuts out, but after I downloaded Down em all it's really faster and stable :)

It is good but I hope it can add some convenient features, such as:
1) Grab links from text file and show the link selection dialog
2) Grab links from clipboard and show the link selection dialog
3) Grab links from webpage. Allow user to input a URL or local path to a html file.
4) For *inum* tag of renaming mask, allow to set an offset/initial value.

This extension is absolutely fantastic but as new versions of Firefox are approaching (and so is e10s), there is the need for version 3 stable. Once XUL is removed I'm sure there is going to be still a way for DownThemAll, Firefox is going to be always better than Chrome

This is my favorite downloader since it is well-integrated into Firefox. I am pained to learn that this add-on will stop working once Firefox deprecates XUL-based add-ons next year. I also noticed that I had to download the nightly version of this add-on for Firefox Nightly 45.0a1. The previous poster may want to try that.

This addon hasn't been updated for some time. Is it abandoned?
Anyway, Firefox 44 finally breaks this addon. Though downloading still works, many settings in preferences do not.
Anyone who rely on DownThemAll should not update Firefox pass version 43.

Not going to lie, when I downloaded this, I didn't think it was going to work. Turns out that it actually does.
I wish Firefox would make whatever changes this extension does because it truly works.
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
