Review for Spam Scores by Barney
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Completely useless. In an inbox containing 15000+ emails, less than 40 messages got a spam check icon. (Yes, I restarted and ran "Repair Folder".)
And the scores were mostly wrong! Not a single message with red or orange icon was actually spam. And the three recent obvious phishing mails which prompted me to install the add-on were actually amongst the handful of messages which got a green icon!
The add-on only displays the scores for mails that also contain a corresponding spam header. Your mail server is responsible for evaluating and adding the scores to the header of the mails. If no or incorrect scores are stored by the mail server in the mails, the add-on can only display this information.
This means that the add-on is not software that actively evaluates mails, but only displays the mail server scores already contained in the mails.
