Ver1.2で発生していた、日本語環境でのメールを表示した際の文字化けは、Ver1.3で解消されたようです。
私が使用するWindows7(x64)環境で、Ver1.3を導入して日本語メールのメッセージを正常に見ることが可能です。

前のバージョンと全く異なり、日本語が文字化けして使いものになりません。
日本語環境のユーザは、使用すべきではないと思います。

This is bad enording/decording in Japanese !
Can't viewing in Japanese message.
Because Enigmail using "bad fixed" utf8 encoding/decording.
Japanase defact standard encording/decording is ISO-2022-JP.
and Shift-JIS(CP932) and other encording/decording.
