Would give it six stars in only it existed! This is exactly what I need, but is old, not compatible with TB since around version 60-something, and I'm using 128. Is anyone working on a new version? Is the source code on github?

It would be great to have this add-on available for recent versions of Thunderbird (supernova) as it is very helpful.

Love this! Very useful for culling through all the crap. Please update for the new version of ThunderBird Supernova!

This is the only feature that made Thunderbird useful for me.

It would have been nice to have receiver domain as well.

It's a waste of screen space to see 100 email addresses shrunk down to Admin@... when their from 30 different places.

And after the absolute hell that I went through loosing emails that were collapsed out of sight when some ***** decided that I need threading by default. And I kept coming back no matter what I did - Worst UX ever! Never force changes on a user, it's the most efficient way to loose clients. Anyway I always use IMAP so changing email clients is easy, I think I will go back to the THE BAT.

And just so it's clear to you. I wasn't warned that I would loose this addon with the upgrade - so rather then choice that I would have rejected - I was forced into a change - they most efficient way to loose clients.

Does NOT work with TB 115+ (Supernova).

Love this plugin! Been looking forward for this.
add the column, sort on the column, then select from the burger select view > sort by > group by sort.

THIS. This has been on my wish list for a long time!
This add-on is unobtrusive and does what it says on the label. Added bonus, you can sort by reverse domain, as well as apply "group by sorting" option native to Thunderbird

Excellent !

Suggestion 1 - Ability to set an automatic mail moving to folder
as below :

Top sender level domain
> Domain
>> Subdomain level 1
>>> Subodmain level 2
>>>> ...
>>>>> mailbox name
>>>>>> Sender name

Example :

.net
> thunderbird
>> support

Suggestion 2 - Ability to set the "display" as "Logical group"

Top level domain
> subdomain level 1
>> subdomain level 2
>> mailbox name
>>> sender name
