Thunderbird Conversations
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I am so happy that the quick reply is back! It makes much life so much easier. Thank you!

Happy to see you back! I was missing this add-on. And the new UI is great.

I have been using this add-on for years in Thunderbird, and I was happy with it. I have found it indispensable, for multi-lingual users, and there are many of us out there. I have no idea when it stopped working, and thought that there is probably a bug which will be fixed. It was not. So I tried other add-ons, and used a different one for a while, than that one disappeared, tried this one again... It was not until now, when I have found in a review by tunayx (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/dictionary-switcher/reviews/667322/) that you need to get into the config and turn the automatic recognition on manually:
Options>Advanced>Config Editor set this as 'true'
extensions.dictionary-switcher.autodetect
I could not imagine that this need to be done manually - please warn users, as you will loose them otherwise. It would, of course, be better if it could be turned on from add-on options.
I also have a compatibility issue with my favourite add-on 'Thunderbird Conversations' - it would be great, if the autoswitching would work in the quick reply.
But it is a fantastic and very important add-on, once the user figures out how to turn it on. Keep up the good work!
Contact Tabs
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Although the version 2.0.10 fixes the autocomplete issue in the TB new mail function, it still does not work in the calendar.
Otherwise a great add-on, thanks. If I could have a request, I would like to be able to add a photo as well if creating a new contact or editing an existing one without a photo.
Smart Dictionary Switcher
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Tried it with English (GB), Hungarian and Croatian - seems to be working fine, much better than the original Dictrionary Switcher. The only thing I am missing is that it does not work with the Thunderbird Conversations - if you could make it compatible with that extension, it would be really great - than I would mark it 5 rather than 4 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 stars
As I have already said in my previous reviews, I love this addon as it provides a visual upgrade to Lightning in Thunderbird which is not only aesthetically pleasing but it actually enhances the usability of the calendar function, particularly if you are using TB on an Exchange server. With this addon and the Exchange provider, Lightning becomes better calendar client for the Exchange server than Outlook, while keeping all the benefits of TB over Outlook. There is, however, one issue that I would like to see fixed - I expected this to be done in Lightning, but my second-best guess would be this addon. When displaying an event that lasts for multiple days, I would like to see it running accross the days rather than repeating it for each day. Not sure if that can be done outside Lightning, but I would really hope so. Thanks!

Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This is a great addon, however, it does somewhat partial job. When opening an individual contact, we still get a new window which limits the navigation. There would be a great way of fixing this, if doubleclicking a contact in AddressBookTab would open a contact in Contact Tabs. If the searchbox of Contact Tabs would be available in AddressBookTab, it would also help sorting out the outstanding issue of TB that you cannot find someone e.g. by phone number. Please consider - talk to each other guys.

This would be a very useful add-on but it lack integration with other parts of Thunderbird as well as with other add-ons. I would like to get contacts open in tabs when doubleclicking them in the address book - particularly I would like this to happen in the AddressBookTab.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0).Calendar Tweaks
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I use this add-on for a long time and always liked it but was not particularly enthusiastic. However, the new 'apply category colour...' feature is the best thing recently introduced helping my calendar handling. There was, however, something that worked differently for me than described in https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/calendar-tweaks/reviews/388984/ and there is a bug introduced in 4.1 as well. What worked differently is that although the feature was enabled on my machine on 4.0, installing 4.1 disabled it (got panicking for a moment). However, when enabled, there were still some events without the category colour. When checked, I have found out that if the category name contains a space (i.e. more than 1 word), then it is not applied. Please fix it. Reading some complaints I have figured that if there was an option to apply the calendar colour in case there is no category assigned, would make more people happy. It could also be helpful for those who receive lots of invitations in various Exchange server calendars.
Keep up the good work!
This is what I call quick response: in less then 24 hours the bug was fixed. Well done and thanks!
Reverse Phone Number Identification
Rated 2 out of 5 stars
This is a potentially very useful extension - but it requires two essential things to enable that: (1) it is incredibly sensitive to the format; even if the grouping of the numbers is the same, if the delimiters are different it does not recognize the number. (2) in most cases I would need to look up a person based on the number from my address book - it would be great if that would also work (as matter of fact, this second was the reason I installed the add-on in the first place). Without these two features the add-on is of so limited use that very few people would need it.
Signature Switch
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Excellent and very useful extension, although I agree with many before me that it is often useful to have the signature above the quote. What would be, however, more important for me is if Signature Switch could be made compatible with Compose for Thunderbird.

Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I would like to second Grzegorz_P: this is an excellent add-on and I came to love it during my 3.1; however, I started using the new version quite early as it is reasonably stable and with the conversations and compose add-ons it looks like a completely new generation email client - but it is badly missing a tab which I can have open all the time with my address book(s).
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.1).SendVia
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
SendVia is an excellent addon but it has a major flow: as I am sending lots of emails from various locations, my accounts are typically set to smtp. In this case no dropdown box appears from the send button and, for quite a long time, I thought that this addon is not working at all. Finally I realised that if I set the email account to other than smtp it works for that one account.

great extension which i use for both firefox and thunderbird. i would also like to use it with sunbird - would highly appreciate if you also made it available for sunbird.
World Weather+
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
it is useful to have a weather displayed in your calendar. it is even more useful to have the forecast; this, however, would have much better place in the header's of the days (similar to google calendar). the most useful version of the forecast is when one is having different meetings in different locations - this could obviously not fit the event box in month view but could do so in the day view; in the other views it could be displayed in the preview bubble.
this would definitely get my vote to 5 stars - as it is i uninstalled it as it is inconvenient.
