I actually love this ad-on and is great because it is hot-key accessible. I have used it in versions 2 and 3... I don't know what happens however, in both versions, ( which I have virtually the same extensions ) I have had repeated issues with the addon suddenly not working. It will hide the MenuBar, and not reveal with hotkey, nor will I be able to use my menu and I will have to activate Firefox in SafeMode to remove it.

I do love the addon however, and would love something like this for my Tab Bar, which I actually had until version 3 of FF.

Why are there instructions for Thunderbird? It won't install in Tb.

Nice. It will be great if apart from the ATL button a icon is added to the bottom status bar so that the menubar can be shown by pressing this button with the cursor--you know, sometimes one can not spare this other hand and can control his computer with one hand only.

Love it, but please note that if you are using IE Tab, the ALT key will not open the menu bar. You must switch to a standard tab first. Just a minor issue, but I thought the extension wasn't working until I noticed this.

Please make a version for Thunderbird and Sunbird? I'll carve a statue of you and erect it on my roof to celebrate your splendour?

The ALT key thing is what makes it spectacular!

Please make the same thing for Thunderbird and Sunbird? I'll carve a statue and erect it on my roof as a testament to you splendour. Cos i can't program, but i can do Art.

I like this add-on. However, a nice feature would be the ability to customise how it is hidden and shown. One nice way would be if the menu bar was automatically shown if you moved the mouse to the top of the page, and then hidden again if the mouse was moved back into the web-page that you are viewing.

Additionally it could configure auto-hide behaviour for the bookmarks toolbar, creating a really nice, clean and uncluttered interface.

I have never had a problem with this add-on and I would recommend it to all Firefox users, since the menubar is basically never needed. It also has the option of using the ALT key to view it if it is needed. It gives me more browsing space and I love it!

Very cool app. I would love to see the Alt key have it show the menu permanently until Alt is pressed again.
