This add-on works GREAT for me with FF 12. I have had no problems. I like how quickly it popups the larger image, even on my 10 year old laptop with only 512MB RAM! THANKS for a very
nicely made add-on.

Seems to be lightweight, which I love, and does exactly what it says. Looks good without the white border but with the shadow (you have an option to remove border, which is great).
I appreciate the fact that you actually included hover tooltips to explain the "Pop-up takes keyboard focus" setting, but I wonder if you could do the same for "Scrolling triggers pop-up", though I do have an idea what it does.
Nice fact that you can enable/disable it for certain sites.
EDIT: Also, I was wondering whether you could add a screenshot on the add-on page of the fact that you can right-click on the link for an image and then press "Save Enlarged Image As..." in the context menu. I was not aware of this option (did not bother reading your notes, lol) until I happened to perform the right-click action. It would just improve awareness of this option to potential users.
EDIT 2: Also, in the future, would it be possible for you to add an option to position the image pop up anywhere you wish on the screen? For example, if I wanted the image to be positioned in the bottom-right hand corner of the screen at all times. Thanks.
Edit 3: Last edit, I swear! Can you include an option to remove the context menu option, since it is annoying when the context menu expands/shrinks all the time when you right click on an image. Thanks.
I'll add a tooltip. You can also see a full description of the preferences in our Preferences help page http://thumbnailzoomplus.wordpress.com/manual/preferences/
I'll add a "Save Enlarged Image As..." screen shot.
Version 2.0.0beta3 fixes the expanding/shrinking menu problem by greying out instead of hiding the menu item when it's not available; it also keeps the menu item available for the last-hovered image, even when the image is no longer displayed. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/thumbnail-zoom-plus/versions/
If you still want to remove the "Save enlarged image as..." menu item, you can do that using the "Menu Editor" add-on for Firefox.

For some reason the addon doesn't enlarge the somewhat bigger pictures posted on the main feed wall, and that is highly desired. Full rating if this is fixed.
Edit: Marvelous. Thank you.
It's fixed in version 1.7.4, which just became the default version. Simply do Check For Updates in the "gear" menu in Tools > Add-Ons to get the new version.

Thumbnail Zoom Plus for Firefox is exactly what I've been searching for long times. Thanks sooo much to the developer!

This is an excellent add-on, it is so very convenient to view pictures on line on various social networking sites. the photo pops up only by sliding the mouse over and there is no need to open the file or download it.

Why sometimes half of the image is loaded?
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7.3.1-signed).This usually happens when the image is slow to load (and it'll finish eventually) or has an connection error when it's partly loaded. Do any messages appear in the 'Errors' tab of Tools > Developer Tools > Error Console?
You could try pressing 't' to load it in a new tab and see if Firefox is able to load it without Thumbnail Zoom Plus.
The next major release of TZP (2.0.0) will update the display more often while loading which will help if the image is just slow to load.

Yes, 1.72 has stopped working -unfortunately the author or someone has seen fit to censor and remove my comments from yesterday.
====EDIT====
Hi, no problem sorry if you thought I was complaining. I was more bothered my review praising your Addon had been removed too.
Thanks again for all the hard work with this Addon :-) We all appreciate it.
This problem is now fixed in 1.7.3, which is now the default version. Upgrade to this latest version and it should work again.
Version 1.7.2 was not working for users who had removed Thumbnail Zoom Plus' toolbutton from the tool bar. Because of this problem I withdrew release1.7.2 so no more users run into this problem.
The Mozilla add-on site automatically deleted all reviews associated with 1.7.2 when I removed that version. I didn't intentionally remove the reviews; it's just a side-effect. To the contrary, I had actually added a note about the problem to the description on the add-on's page, so I wasn't hiding the problem.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Stopped working on facebook.. Don't know if this is because facebook have changed something or it's the add-ons fault ?

1.7.2beta2 so far so good... Im happy with it... btw would you consider making "whitelist" function for the pages you dont want to enable thumbnail?
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7.1.1-signed). This user has a previous review of this add-on.Thanks for letting me know the beta is good. I plan to add whitelist/blackist but I'm not sure how soon. The beta does have a feature which may help: it's now easy to temporarily turn TZP on/off by clicking its toolbutton or pressing 'x' while a popup is displayed.

I was just browsing when i realized my zoomed images look better, and I saw the updated addon. It's really great, more sites supported, and more flexible preferences. Good job!
Can't wait for the next update, hopefully soon.

A fantastic update to Thumbnail Zoom. Five minutes in, I already couldn't imagine going back. In the future, though, can we get more frequent updates? Not all of us like to run add-ons that haven't been approved by Mozilla, and this had to be one of the most extended minor version betas in the history of betas. When your add-on's platform has more frequent releases than your add-on itself, you know it's time to ease up a little on testing. ;)

How it works: mouse over a thumbnail and Thumbnail Zoom Plus will display the full-size image next to your cursor. No clicking required! It works great with popular websites such as YouTube, Facebook and Imgur. It's an incredible time-saver, even if it might seem so simple at first! At the end of the day, with less mouse clicking, you'll soon realize how much more time you have for browsing the web! 5/5 for this add-on.

Great addon just one problem when i use save enlarged image the file size is usually between 10 to 20 times larger than what it would be if clicked on the photo and saved it that way any way to remedy that. ?
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.0.1-signed).Thanks for the review and for pointing this out; I wasn't aware of the issue. The problem is that the add-on always converts the image from its original format to png, and apparently uses little or no compression. I don't know why the original developer made it that way.
I'm considering changing it to save the image exactly as it was on the web site, which would give identical size. The only concern is that some users may like that it was converting from a variety of image formats into png format.
If you'd like to track the status of this issue, follow it at https://github.com/dadler/thumbnail-zoom/issues/62, or email me your thoughts at firefox.add.on@davidadler.name .
Until it is fixed, a workaround is to use 1.6.1beta9 (or newer) and press the "t" to open the full-size image in a new tab. Then press Control-s (Command-s on mac) to save the image; then close the tab.

every time i right-click over an image, the option to "save enlarged image as" appears a second late, bumping the other options up a notch which makes it frustrating to use when making a quick selection.
and although there were options to time the appearance of the thumbnail preview, the extension still seemed to get in the way using Google Images.
You should find that the new 1.6.1beta8 works better. In this version, Thumbnail Zoom Plus won't show new pop-ups when you scroll in sites like Google Images, so you won't need to set a long "Delay before displaying image" (which was contributing to the "Save enlarged image as" problem). A bug related to the "Save" menu item in beta5 is also fixed.
Note that in the beta you can also save by pressing the "s" key while the popup is displayed (instead of using the menu item).
Thanks for the feedback,
David
