Hello, calendar OK, great!
For the invitation into the configurator, when i add this value: "calendar.google.enableEmailInvitations", the mail address appears in the propreties of aganda, great! BUT when i close TB 78.4.0 (32bits), this value dissapears from the configurator...please fix this. THANKS!

Works great except for one thing, when it syncs to my android phone, the calendar heading / title cannot be seen. You tap on it, it opens up, there you see it. But not without opening the item.

Like others, everything was fine until TB 78. Now the only way I can see my calendars is too hide and unhide them on a regular basis. I have tried downloading the add-on from the website but the problem persists. Please fix

I have Thunderbird 78.4.0 and last version of the add on.
i have two major bugs to solve.
I cannot invite guest to my scheduled meetings. The event I create with the invitation never saves.
I cannot also accept an invitation received to participate to a planned event by third party. Thunderbird tells me that I haven't writable calendars.

Radoslav Krehlik is correct - this does NOT work if you install from the add-on directly within Thunderbird at the moment.
Download and install, restart Thunderbird and it works.
I had to remove my calendars and re-import them.
Not great, but at least it's a work-around

the addon is fine for calendar but problematic with tasks. before, it wouldnt update and sync, creating a HHUUGGEE list of deleted tasks i couldnt get rid of. now the calendar wont sync with google tasks at all.

For those who cannot see Google Calendar events in version 78.4.0. Try to download&install this add-on manually. It fixed my problem.

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK? Upgrade to Tb78.4 and lose my calendar access EVEN THOUGH Mozilla says it's integrated:
"Lightning Calendar, Organize your life — it’s about time!
Organize your schedule and life’s important events in a calendar that’s fully integrated with your Thunderbird email. "
Integrated my arse. This is misleading advertising, and has messed up my workflow, and recordkeeping.
The Add New Calendar wizard gets itself into a neverending loop retrieving a calendar. It never completes. So no access to calendars that were working just fine before I updated the Tb release.
And it's not just that one issue. Even the email account setup is broken. I'm going over to a different client, at least until this abortive release gets fixed. This one has become such a headache. There are plenty of others that work right the first time.

I am using version 78.4.0 as 32-bit and on another computer as 64-bit version. The appointments from Google Calendar are no longer displayed. If I briefly hide the respective calendar and then show it again, the calendar entry is visible again. I have to do this every time I start Thunderbird. Please update, thanks.

Endlich ein Add-on, mit dem der Kalender-Austausch mit google-Kalender wieder bidirektional unter TB 78.3.3 funktioniert, so wie es vor dem großen update auf TB 78 schon mal lief. Da ging es schon einmal so einfach wie mit diesem Add-on. Danke an die Entwickler, bleibt dran.

4 stars instead of 5, because with thunderbird's latest release you need to deactivate and then reactivate the addon to make it work (I really hope it's a temporary bug you can fix ;) )

Love the addon, but in 78.3.2 the appointments aren´t showing. You need to hide the calendar and then show it again. Hope you can fix this.
