This is outstanding. Thanks! There is another similar extension, but it can only select messages by author, and not by subject. With both options, all of my needs are covered.

I greatly missed it since the release of Thunderbird 3.

I have often wanted a way to quickly filter on the current sender or subject. This pretty much does it!

Some possible enhancements would be to have buttons instead of a right click menu choice.

I use Saved Searches a lot, so a Saved Search that magically learns of the last sender or subject would be slick too!
