I don't know how to use this add on. I've installed this one along with Google translate extension. When double click on any word, only the translate extension pops up. Please guide me.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.59).Hello!
I have written a page explaining how to install and activate:
http://marcoagpinto.cidadevirtual.pt/en_installing.html
I hope this helps.

Very good.

This add-on seems very good, though one thing I have noticed that it has only 60 of the 66 books of the Bible. I would like to request the six missing books, which are: Habakkuk, Malachi, Philippians, Colossians, Thessalonians, Philemon. As a Christian, I talk about these books constantly. It is also a shame that the add-on doesn't include American spellings such as color. When I'm not speaking to Brits, I prefer to use American English, so as not to create any barriers in communication.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.57).Hello!
I can't add "color" since it is American, but you can use American words by installing a US speller and toggling between spellers as needed.
Tomorrow morning I will work on the six bible missing books.
I will try to find if Wikipedia has information about them in order to try to find missing related words.
Consider that on Friday night I will update the nightly changes in GitHub with missing bible terms:
https://github.com/marcoagpinto/aoo-mozilla-en-dict
Thank you!
Kind regards,
EDIT:
Tons of bible related words/names added.
See the GitHub release notes for 16-FEB-2018.
It will be available in the monthly update within a couple of weeks.

Works well in Thunderbird, rather ironic that I had to create this review in order to create an 'editable text box' so I could enable the dictionary in Firefox!

There is still a long way to go, I believe, but as long as I live I will keep on improving it.
Starting on 2-DEC I will continue adding possessives to proper names, as I have only fixed the missing ones in the letters A-G... thousands missing I believe.
Always remember that if you or anyone find any missing words that exist in the Oxford/Collins dictionaries, just send me an e-mail for analysis.

To enable, right-click in a text box, select "Languages", then "English (United Kingdom)".
What's/Where's a "text box"?
Why do I need a dictionary to be able to understand how to use your dictionary.
Found it. This must be a text box because the Languages option has just shown up.
So easy...NOT.
Hello KES,
The detailed instructions on how to install/use are explained in:
http://marcoagpinto.cidadevirtual.pt/en_installing.html
(there was a link in the add-on description to it)
Could you please increase the stars since you missed the link above and I have spent full days adding words to it and also writing the FAQ/instructions?
Thank you!
Kind regards,
EDIT:
I have just improved the add-on text to match your suggestion:
"To enable, right-click in an editable text area, select "Languages" → "English (United Kingdom)"."
Is this easier to understand now?

The dictionary does not actively correct spelling while it is being typed and does not check grammar. Other than that it is a decent spell checker but only servers a purpose when Firefox's built in spell checker does not work for some reason.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.54).Hello John,
What you ask for, "actively correct spelling" and "grammar check", are not possible with Mozilla spellers.
For that you need Microsoft Word or OpenOffice/LibreOffice Writer, because they have an option called "autocorrect" which allows to replace words automatically (I am working on it for LibreOffice in Portuguese).
The best you can do is to use LanguageTool with Firefox:
http://marcoagpinto.cidadevirtual.pt/faq.html#8
Notice that the add-on for Thunderbird is kind of unmaintained.
Also, have in attention that my GB speller is the official one for Mozilla:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/language-tools/
I am not sure if they are shipping it with the software though, which means that you probably have it built-in without knowing.
