When will this be ready for Firefox 30?

ForcastFox IS the Best Weather indicator add-on available I have found, EVER! So, this said, tell me, Why does my browser, tell me, that the Add-on I had installed and working, is "Incompatible" when it's NOT the add-on that was changed, but rather the Browser that was updated? Wouldn't you think, that considering the "Browser" was what changed, it would be the Browser that was Incompatible, and not the Add-on I had for over a YEAR (Completely working just fine!), and now that my browser is updated, now my add-on does NOT work!
It should be the responsibility of the maker of the browser, to make it compatible with the plugins, after all, the maker of the plugin did not change anything on MY COMPUTER! (Please update Forcastfox ASAP! I can't stand not having it, and hate the replacement!) STUPID FIREFOX v31 CRAPOLA!

Waiting for this damn add-on to be officially updated... How much longer are you going to take?

I'm using firefox 31. I succeeded to install ForecastFox 2.2.4 following the precious advices already posted here:
1) open a tab on "about:config' and set the relevant checkCompatibility parameter from "true" to "false" (there was only one for me)
2) install the "addon bar (restored) 3.2
3 download forecastfox 2.2.4 (from Clubic) and install it
It works perfectly!!
I hope this will help ;-)

When are you eventually going to catch up with Firefox again ? Since Version 30 your addon doesn't work any more.

I installed this addon using Tammy advice and it worked. Thanks a lot! I liked to have more than two days forecast but when I set it up that way in settings it would disappear from my newly installed addon bar. So I simply used the default settings and it's been working ever since. I'm running Firefox 30

For me only works with "The addon bar 3.2" from the post of Tammy. The New addon bar works for me not from the post of DocR

Forecastfox is in fact available to use in Firefox 30.0, but why Mozilla made it so difficult to obtain and install is hard to understand. First, install " New Add-on Bar 0.22
by Leszek Życzkowski." Then find and install Forecastfox Weather 2.2.4. So Forecastfox hasn't been abandoed. The links given previously for 2.2.4 have expired certificates (maybe they will be updated) and Firefox doesn't like that, but you can work through that.

This is such a convenient and accurate app. It was small, out of the way but was always accurate for my area. It was easy to glance at the toolbar and see what the temps were for the present and days ahead. I agree with the other reviewers and wish someone would continue to try and upgrade this to the newer versions of FF.

No news is bad news. Sadly this once great add-on appears to have been abandoned by the developer as there is no indication it is being worked on to be compatible with new versions of Firefox - the current add-on is not compatible. Their support forum is full of folks trying to figure out how to hack their setups in order to run the older version. Someone should pick up the project and carry on, as it was a solid product.

I love it! Although I'm still waiting for a compatible version with Firefox 29 and up.

Title says it!
Just tried these one:
"Follow the instructions below from IamTammy regarding installing the-addon-bar. Then uninstall Forecastfox. Then open a new tab into about:config and create a setting called extensions.checkCompatibility.30.0 (or what ever version of Firefox you're using). Set it to false (Instructions are in the wiki: http://www.wikihow.com/Force-Install-Incompatible-Addons-in-Firefox). Restart Firefox, and then install Forecastfox again (press the 'Install Anyway" button) and voila, Forecastfox appears at the bottom of the browser!"
Made no difference--add-on bar is empty and Forcastfox is unresponsive when i try to set prefs.

I made an account just to post this because I, too am using 30.0 and this gave me the 'bar' back: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/the-addon-bar Install like you would any other Firefox addon - no restart. Enjoy.

Thanks for the work around!
Install the addon-bar first;

I used the add-on manager to do this.
Install Forecastfox version 2.2.4 from this link:
