Awesome. I've been using it for the past 6 mnths. Some minor glitches, especially when moving emails between folders, but other than that works wonderfully ... in TB2 ... not so in TB3, it breaks the Header view.

Please update to 3.0!
All the header disappeared when I installed it on 3.0rc1.

very good idea, nice visualization - would be a great feature if it would actually work.
doesn't update properly, if you move messages from inbox somwhere else, or send drafts. Sent messages won't gent indexed at all. So in my setup, the index times out every day for the most recent messages, which is basically useless. Alternatively you have to rebuild the whole database every time you want to use threadvis.
Conclusion: not usable for me.
Maybe I missed something? For me it's hard to explain why there's so many ***** ratings...

Excellent work.
It greatly ease my email reading process.
Is it possible to make this extension support thunderbird 3.0?

Haven't needed to use the buttons yet, but the thread view has already saved me a lot of time checking emails in multiple folders.
I've been trying to get Thunderbird to work in the same capacity as Google Apps and this was the last add-on I needed. It allows me to see when some one replys to an email that goes to one of email lists that we use and is filtered into another folder so I don't double up on work done, miss an email, etc.
I couldn't recommend this any higher to people trying to move away from webmail into Thunderbird.

Great add-on. Use it all the time for those lengthy threads

Just an FYI -- I had problems with messages in the "Sent" folder not being included in the results. I found that if I changed the "Sent" folder from local folders to the account folder (in the Copies and Folders section of Account Settings), I now see NEW sent messages being scanned properly.

plus / minus does not work as expected...
the buttons would not be neccessary, if you implement those two ideas:
would you please display the bar with logarithmic size representing the time gap between emails? see windows partition manager for an example.
what about dynamically resizing the whole width so it fits the bar 100%

Nice addon. But some annoying bugs:
When moving a mail to other imap folders, the cache does not update.
Or with new mails (imap), too.
I have no pop3 mail accounts. Dont know if its working there.

This is a brilliant extension. I would give it five stars if the "Sent" folder would be scanned properly - please fix this.

Threadvis is a fantastic extension. Very usefull if you have plenty of folders with thousands of messages.
Any plans for an upgrade to TB 3 ?
