Doesn't work. Provided correct email/password combination; consistently refused.

this plug in sucks !!! it wont let me sign into a single email account when firefox starts up. It keeps popping up a window over and over and over asking me for my email and password, and when i enter them it pops the window back up again, and all of this after i spent 30 minutes configuring all the stuff for it with the "options" tab. This thing is a waiste of time and their website is a joke, it just has some dude with a picture. If i would have paid anything for this i would feel as though i got totally scammed.

It works again for my PC. thanks.
I thought when it not works well, then Google changes some format.

Sorry, it is only working for my Google Apps account at my companies domain, but not for my private account. (myname@gmail.com).
So it makes it useless for me as I can't switch between anything.

While Google breaks this add on once in awhile I find it useful and happily tossed the dev $5 if only for the past use. Find the patch and install it.

Gmail Manager never runs for last few months
I tired to notify the developer but no response at all. I guess this nice handy add-on will fade to obsolete soon :(

It is sad to see that the developer of Gmail Manager has failed to release an official update for it. Has he given up on Gmail manager?

I have a feature request: gmail may provides email address in this format - xxx@your_domain_name.com, i.e. gmail address not contains 'gmail'. I would like to use Gmail Manager to check such mailboxes.

@j:
Gmail Manager is one of the most useful plugins to a lot of people and naturally people are going to be passionate about it. And of course, people become frustrated when it breaks. Sure, a few users go a little too far but the majority don't and _are_ thankful. You should understand that not everything boils down to the simple 'its free so shut up' attitude you've presented.
I personally hope that the author finds it in his schedule, and his heart, to fix it. If not, I understand and will continue to respect the work he's already done regardless if it's time to find an alternative.

I've used this add-on for probably 4 or 5 years now, and it has been incredibly useful. Moreso than any other Gmail add-on I've tried for Firefox. There have always been problems when Google decides to implement random changes to Gmail, and forces a patch of the code or an entire re-write. Which Todd Long (developer of this add-on), has done for us time and time again. For no compensation. This most recent change is probably the longest span that Todd hasn't updated, but luckily we have a patched version that is working for now.
What I find funny is how many people are demanding that Todd come in and fix something that they didn't help create, fund, or have anything to do with. He doesn't have to do anything, and really you should be thanking him for the amount of time you used his coding to make your life easier, at absolutely no cost to you. I would like to see the add-on updated officially by the author as well, as I use it near-constantly. But if he cannot because of time constraints or other obligations, or hell, if he just doesn't feel like it, that's completely reasonable. You are entitled to nothing, and the amount of complaining is absurd. If anyone is truly unhappy about the state of this add-on, I will personally refund you the money you've paid to install it. Oh wait...

Fairly good gmail manager. However, how and where you display the button is awkwardly implemented and the icon does not display consistently in the FF add-ons bar. It would be nice if this preference was streamlined into the "Customise..." menu like other add-on buttons.

No documentation on how to apply patch. Does not work with current version of gmail. Why on earth would you force users manually patch your plugin instead of just updating the entire thing for everyone as single download?

If the patch is so important, why not you the creator update the addon. Do not have time to mess with that junk myself. I am a college student. If you want me to use your addon, please updated it so we can easily use it. Thanks.

The gmail manager tool posted at github, I believe it is labeled gmail_manager-0.6.4.1.4-fx+sm.xpi doesn't work for me either. It never shows mail in my account, and says I have 100% of my space, with 0mb being used (which is untrue).
