Thank you for your efforts to fix this! 0.6.3 works like a charm!
Donated for one of the most useful firefox addons.
Anyone else that finds this as useful as I do should kick in a little too, whatever you can spare.

Just go to the author's web and click Install Now, it'll install the newest version, in this case v0.6.3. Now it works for me as it's suppose to work. Great work!! One of the best extensions!! 10/10

Any ideas when the login problems will be fixed? I have been using this for quite a while and it's quite good, but this bug renders it more or less useless.

Same problem here: version 0.6 was not working (not logging in) and version 0.6.2 experimental (installed from author's website) is also not logging in.
But i noticed something interesting about this bug that may help the developer to solve it: inspite default login method problem, mail compose IS working, which means that if you configure gmail manager to handle mailto: links and you click on such a link, the add-on successfully logs you in and redirects to gmail's compose page. You can also access your inbox and other folders from here.
Despite this recurrent problem, which affects this extension from time to time, I'm rating it 5 stars. Firstly because I think this bug isn't an author's fault, perhaps it has something to do with constant changes to the GMail API. Second, and of course, it is very useful when it is working.

I'm not saying there's no update. I'm, pointing on the fact that it's not working. Here :

changelog :
0.6.2 released 1/14/2011
- Fixed issue with accounts not logging in properly
- Fixed passwords so that they will play nice with spaces
- Fixed drag-and-drop to work with the statusbar (once again)
- Added option to automatically switch to account with new mail
- Removed support for Firefox 1.* (i.e. pre-Gecko 1.8.1)
I tried it on PC/Linux machnies with different FFoxes. Still not working.

5 Stars. Now working, and I didn't have to disable Google Buzz! After weeks of coming to terms that my Firefox browsing experience was now seriously hindered without the highly depended upon Gmail Manager extension by Todd Long, I decided to visit the site today to learn that it was update and the issue resolved.I donated $5 to Todd Long, and I rarely would do that for an extension. But this is something that is invaluable and I feel Todd took his time out, heard the requests of the community and fixed the issue. If you guys & gals have come to depend on this extension like I have, you should consider donating. Thanks Todd.
For those saying it is not working, go here and get the latest version: http://www.longfocus.com/firefox/gmanager/

I truelly tried it to get to work, but it didn't... Sorry, but a maximum of 2 stars for this app... It's a pity, because I was really forward to using it.

Thanks for responding so quickly to update requests Todd. Fabulous work. If this guy has streamlined your gmail like he has mine, do what I did and donate. He shouldn't have to help us all for free.
