Works brilliantly for copy / paste tables to excel. Makes me happy every time I use it. My #1 favourite extension.

Очень простое, удобное в использовании дополнение. Помогло мне при работе с веб-страницей, которая "не хотела" нормально распечатываться - я скопировала таблицу, перенесла её в Ворд и получила красивый результат.

What changed in V1.0? I can no longer do a direct post to Excel; instead I have to go to 'Special Past' > Paste as Text. If they fix this issue it would be a perfect extension.

Note- Does not preserve formatting or hyperlinks.
I found a WORKAROUND in STANDARD Firefox that does however--
Start the selection ABOVE the table in a non-table area. Drag down to the end of desired cell in table. Control-C. Paste into MS Word or Excel 2003.
(for Firefox 3.0.11 with or without Table2Clipboard)
(not good for copying small part of a big table)

Whilst this add-on allows you to copy and paste like with IE, I found it even better to just copy as normal (), then, in Excel, highlight the first cell or the group of cells and right click, then "paste special", "text". This puts the data into the individual cells but does not paste borders, highlighting, fonts etc., which is EXACTLY what I want. I just want the data into the cells without the formatting. (I am pasting banking transactions into Excel 2000 (9.0)) Jim

Incredible. It just works—beautifully even on my Mac using CMD+mouse drag. I'm grateful for this plugin!

Great add-on to copy text. Couldn't manage to export cells with numbers. Excel saw those numbers as text, and I couldn't convert them to numbers, with the 'paste special' trick too.

Amazing extension. I've never seen a more straightforward and convenient way to copy and paste a table without the html stuff. Works great once you have understood the logic. Congrats. -bu

Today i asked him for a new feature. After some hours he presented me a version which does the job.

Great work.

In future table2Clipboard will copie data in input fields like normal HTML values.

When I do a fresh system install, this is the first Firefox Add-On that I look for. So very useful for copying cells from online credit and banking sites; then I simply paste into OpenOffice.org's Calc. Thanks so very much!!!!

Well. normal table copypasting now broken of FF 3.1, so i return to this addon...
