πολύ καλή δουλειά, σε λάθος προσθήκη λέξης τι κάνουμε όμως; άμα καταλάθος προσθέσουμε μια λάθος ορθογραφημένη λέξη;
Πρέπει να μπορούμε να την αναιρέσουμε . Τα δύο πλήκτρα είναι το ένα κάτω απο το άλλο και το λάθος είναι εύκολο
Το αρχείο στο οποίο αποθηκεύει το λεξικό τις επιπρόσθετες λέξεις είναι το persdict.dat το οποίο βρίσκεται στο κρυφό φάκελο του προφίλ του firefox σου.
Ανάλογα με το λειτουργικό σου η τοποθεσία αυτού του φακέλου είναι:

C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox
\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\
Windows Vista
C:\users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

Μια πρόταση. Δεν ξέρω κατά πόσο είναι εύκολο, αλλά θα ήταν καλό να μη γίνεται καθόλου έλεγχος σε αγγλικό κείμενο, όταν είναι ενεργοποιημένο το ελληνικό λεξικό.
Όπως ακριβώς δε γίνεται έλεγχος σε ελληνικό κείμενο με το ενσωματωμένο (αγγλικό) λεξικό του Firefox.

Πραγματικό εργαλείο.
Μου έχει λύσει τα χέρια πολλές φορές.
Υπάρχει περίπτωση να επεκταθεί και να υποστηρίζει και το πολυτονικό σύστημα;

Μόνο και μόνο για αυτή την εφαρμοφή αξίζει κάποιος να κατεβάσει τον Mozilla !

For those who have compatibility issues with version 7 of firefox and thunderbird they should try to use Add-on Compatibility Reporter.
After installing the Add-on Compatibility Reporter, your incompatible extensions will become enabled for you to test whether they still work with the version of Firefox or Thunderbird that you're using. If you notice that one of your add-ons doesn't seem to be working the same way it did in previous versions of the application, just open the Add-ons Manager and click Compatibility next to that add-on to send a report to Mozilla.
Even if your add-ons all work fine, if they're marked incompatible, please let us know that they work fine by submitting a success report so we can encourage the add-on developer to update their compatibility information.
We'll collect all of the reports and let add-on developers know what users are having problems with, or if their add-ons seem to work just fine in future versions of the product.
If you encounter problems and want to disable your incompatible add-ons again, uninstalling the Add-on Compatibility Reporter should revert to your previous compatibility checking settings.

I just updated my Thunderbird version and now my Greek spellchecking dictionary disapeared!!! I read it is not available for Thunderbird 7.0. That is shit! If I knew I had not made an update!!!

Η λέξεις "Οπτικοποίηση" και "Σίγαση" και "Αποεπιλογή" και "μεταφορτώθηκε" και "κωδικοποιητή" δεν υπάρχουν στο λεξικό..

Νάστε καλά και χίλια ευχαριστώ.
Έχω εντοπίσει και κάποιες ανορθογραφίες αλλά σχετικά λίγες. Προσθέτω και τις δικές μου λέξεις στο λεξικό, αλλά πώς μπορώ να το βρω και να το αποθηκεύσω ξεχωριστά?

Δεν δουλεύει στον fck editor. Text boxes που βασίζονται στον fck editor έχουν πρόβλημα με αυτό το add on. Υπάρχει περίπτωση να διορθωθεί;

As I reported in the Greek-English version of the dictionary comments, the Greek dictionary has stopped working for Greek words. What it does is the following:
a. sometimes it doesn't find any errors at all.
b. sometimes it does catch errors, but it either has no suggestions for them, or it suggests odd strings with random (?) non greek characters
c. When in (b) it wrongly indicates all words with an initial capital letter as wrong, without any suggestion on them.
The Greek-English version has similar problems making it unusable. The English spell checking has no problems.
This is a problem also occurring with no other extensions running, so it doesn't look like such a conflict.
Please, can anyone check on this? It has been such wonderful dictionaries until a month or so ago.
