I realize i must be doing something wrong, but that only begs the question of why isn't the documentation so clear that my confusion isn't impossible?
Installed it fine, went into its settings, found mouse gestures page [tho it forces you to stumble about to find that right clicking on a given command triggers its popup field], and tried a few gestures.
Nada. Trails didn't appear, much less promised actions happening.
I have a golden rule that has saved me many hours with craputers [er, computers]: if it doesn't work instantly, forgetaboutit.

The duplicate tab command fired up with a mouse gesture set in this Add-on creates a a duplicate tab without the history of the initial one. The normal shortcut duplicates tab with history. Can this be fixed?
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2.0).This was already fixed a few days ago in the newest version 2.3.0, which is still waiting to be reviewed. But you can install it now from the version history below.

Nice work converting for e10s, I used to use all-in-one gesture but I think you've improved on that considerably. Cheers

Really great add-on! I've been waiting for the feature that allows custom scripts to be created. Unfortunately, some FireGestures scripts don't work on this add-on, but I don't know much about writing scripts to properly convert them to work with it. Reading the documentation helps, but I still don't understand most of it. I used FireGestures in conjunction with Private Tab. The scripts have to do with opening a link in a new private (or not, depending on the source tab's state) tab or toggling the selected tab's private state if the gesture wasn't started on a link.

Very nice and works well.
But I can't add a gesture for Pin/Unpin tab and go to Tab Group.
I really hope the developer adds the support for those features.
No built-in functions for pin/unpin at the moment but you can use a custom script. See http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=14179319#p14179319

Completely changed and simplified the way I brows the internet. Easy to learn and customize to your own preferences.

Very responsive and a pleasure to customize, explains very well what all the options do
Would it be possible to have a gesture open up a menu with the list of recently closed tabs?
There is no function for a menu with recently closed tabs currently but you can use a custom script to invoke a menu of a different extension. Grab the latest version 2.0.1 of Mouse Gestures Suite, install Undo Closed Tabs Button extension and then add a custom function with the script that I have added to the documentation at http://lemon-juice.github.io/mouse-gestures-suite/scripts.html

I have this annoying problem.
I mostly use Scroll Wheel Navigation and Rocker gestures like this: scrolling wheel with right button pressed changing current tabs and pressing left button with right button pressed closing current tab. And I need to release right button to close current tab with rocker gesture when this tab was selected with wheel navigation. And after closing with rocker I again need to release and press right tab to change tab with wheel.
I came to this extension from it's dead analog - Mouse Gestures Redox - and there was no problem with that, smooth and nice.
Anyway, thanks for your work and keep it live!
I see what you mean. Recently, I've been busy preparing a release with other new stuff so I had to focus on different things. At the moment I don't know how difficult it would be to implement what you are asking for but I'll keep an eye on it in the future. It seems like the author of All-in-One Gestures (that MGS is based on) didn't consider it to be an important feature. For any news you can watch this topic: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=2930915

On all points better than FireGestures & All-in-One Gestures !
(Firefox 37)
p.s. small inconvenience or feature :) to open a context menu of buttons on the nav-panel hold Shift or Ctrl

This is a great add-on which completely changed the way I browse.
I have a small feature request (apologies for posting this in a review, but the support email address seems to be invalid, the server returned: 511 sorry, no mailbox here by that name / skrzynka pocztowa odbiorcy nie istnieje (#5.1.1 - vuser)).
I have one small pet-peeve regarding the Grab and Drag feature.
Is there any way to have an option to reverse the direction?
E.g. dragging upwards scrolls *down* rather than *up*, such that the
pixel on the page under the mouse pointer does not change. This will
be more familiar to Mac OSX users and Linux GNOME users with the
"natural scrolling" option turned on.
If this is not an option you'd consider adding, could you if possible
provide me with a patch/diff I could apply to the source files to
directly reverse the direction? Or maybe some hints on where to
look so I can try my hand at a dirty hack. :)
Thank you for your great work!
Edit (reply to the developer): Yes the acrobat reader setting does exactly what I want. Can't believe I didn't try it before. I guess I wasn't sure what it meant, so I just left it alone. Thank you!
Sorry about the invalid email address - I was just moving server yesterday so it was not set up again immediately. It should be working now, though.
As to the Grab and Drag scrolling direction - go to Advanced Prefs #2 and turn on Acrobat Reader mode and see if it does what you want.

>> Scroll Wheel Navigation -> Navigate through Tabs: now there is a popup lisitng all open tabs so as to make it easy to swich. Previosly visited tab is marked as underlined.
> Please please please make this optional.
Thanks! I'll just leave this 5-star review then.
I can make it optional in the next release but it'll be a while before I get to it.
For now there is a workaround in options if you want tab switching without the popup, I've added it to the release notes: https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/mouse-gestures-suite/versions/1.7.0

I prefer this extension because it allows for a slower middle button autoscroll speed than the native Firefox autoscroll.
Many thanks!

必要なジェスチャーは最初からほとんどそろっていますが
「左側のタブを閉じる」だけが無いのが納得できません。
それとも自由に好きなジェスチャーを追加できるのでしょうか。

Great to see this extension ported to Seamonkey. Thanks for that. However, a few minor problems:
When you use the rocker feature, the right-click context menu briefly appears then disappears when using the forward rocker gesture (works fine with the back rocker gesture). I'd have expected it not to flash up.
Rocker won't work if mouse gestures isn't selected in the options. Personally, I don't need mouse gestures, but want the rocker features by itself. Sure, most would want the mouse gestures (and I might in the future), but it'd be nice to be able to have rocker gestures and not have mouse gestures simultaneously.
It'd be nice to have the original setting to return back to the tab you were previously on when closing a tab. Sure, not exactly a mouse gesture, but it was a neat feature. I know that you couldn't get it to work in Seamonkey, but if it ever can be get to work, I'd be a happy bunny. :)
Anyway, thanks again.
Edit: After a prompt and successful response to fixing the two problems with the rocker gestures, I've raised the score from four stars to five stars. Fix is in version 1.1.1.
