Excellent Add on!!!, a must for anyone needing to save info from the web in a compact format, and best of all: compatible format.
BTW: the developer has VERY good support.

Great! The only reason to maintain Opera, FireFox and IE was *.mht and Speak text in web pages.

Much better compatibility with IE than MAF extension if you're just using .mht files. Pity the 2 can't co-exist!

I thought Save All Page As MHT is to save all pages into a single MHT. Would you add this feature and make this addon be a wonderful and powerful addon?

I'm the current developer and maintainer of the Mozilla Archive Format extension.
I found UnMHT mentioned sometimes as an alternative to MAF, and gave it a try. I found that UnMHT is really superior to MAF 0.6.3 with regard to MHT handling.
In particular, UnMHT over MAF has:
* Higher level of MHT compatibility.
* The ability to save the current state of a page.
* Memory caching of MHT contents.
However, at present, MAF remains the only solution for viewing and saving the MAFF ZIP-based, cross-browser file format. MAF is only compatible with Firefox 3, while UnMHT supports a wider range of applications.
UnMHT source code is well written, understandable and maintainable; comments are written in Japanese.
From version 5.1.1, UnMHT is fully compatible with MAF development version 0.9.0.

Very good addon.
Now I can finally use Firefox to save complete webpages.

cool...I' love this extension!
I' didn't notice problems with font rendering...mine were like the original web page...
I' just wish it would show up in the download history...so to open a saved *.mht file would be ctrl+j =history...then rt click...then open file or open folder...small annoyance...hope they add it to the saved history folder?

Works like a charm, my math professor saves all his notes he makes on windows journal to .mht and I was tired of them opening in IE. Thank you.

I use it to view .eml-files from within firefox and while it works, the output looks ugly. It seems to force japanese encoding which means ugly fonts. It also doesn't print the headers in a nice way (right now, all headers are shown in a fixed-width font without linebreaks). I'd like to be able to show only the important headers (from, to, subject etc.) and perhaps html formatted (bold, colors whatever)
