I use this add-on constantly. It is much better than the calendar functions of Google and Yahoo since the page does not have to remain displayed. My only concern was with Version 2. Too much was changed and the TODO recurring alarms stopped working. Since the version was backed out and we are back to version 1 it is fine. I hope the bugs can be worked out and version 2 put back.

Thanks for the very very useful Addon.
A request! Do we have option to sync the reminders across the machines using Firefox sync. I think addon preferences can be synced with Firefox sync feature.

I have been using this for as long as I can remember without any issues at all then, last week, for some strange reason, the little key tab thing on the bottom right of the task bar has disappeared. This means that I cannot open this to add on reminders making the whole thing useless. I,m gonna try to install again and see if this solves the problem. Certainly hope so as otherwise I,ve been very happy.

I was really happy with this add-on until I discovered that only reminders repeat. I don't consider doing the laundry at the end of every week a "reminder". The "repeat" option on to-dos or any custom list is just there for decoration; it doesn't actually perform the function and the task will disappear into oblivion once you've completed it.
I find this frustrating, at best.
I wanted an organized list of things I need to do, but I can't have that. If it has to repeat more than once, I have to enter it manually each time it needs to repeat or shove it on my list of reminders which, by the way, will just get really long that way. If I wanted a mile-long list of things I needed to do, I'd crack open a word document.

ReminderFox is a must have for anyone. It can literally save a life. I've used this addon for a year or so now and cannot live without it.
Just recently, I've had to use ReminderFox to schedule seizure medication for my Puggle, Bandit. It must be given twice a day and 12 hours apart. ReminderFox is helping to save my dogs life.
It has also reminded me of birthdays and other important dates, and these events can be repeated yearly. There's also a function to repeat monthly, daily, etc.
The to do list is fantastic as well. And, you can add any list. It's very versatile and configurable to specific user needs.

WOW! This add on helped my life out loads! Without it I would have forgotten my girlfriend's birthday. Managed to grab a card and some flowers on the way home from work and luckily my life went on! PHEW, THANKS REMINDERFOX!

ReminderFox is one of my favourite add-ons. I’m running dual boot with Windows and Ubuntu and I spent hours looking for a calendar app that would run on both Windows and Linux and had specific features (repeating tasks and a complete selection of repeat intervals). I gave up. Later, reading one of those “10 Best FireFox Addons” articles, I decided to take a look at ReminderFox. It’s easy to set up and use and by changing the folder where it stores my calendar data to my Dropbox folder, I can synch between my two partitions.
And then there’s that endearing little fox with the string tied around his finger. As the reminder box slides up from the bottom of my FireFox panel to remind me of a dental appointment, he looks almost...apologetic.

There is this one time I forgot to pay the electricity bill, well...it wasn't pretty. Now I have this application to remind me to pay the bills, birthdays (which I'm bad at remembering), when I'm scheduled to work, etc. It's easy to use...I just really like it. Definitely recommended.

This is the most useful add-on that exists right now. ReminderFox keeps track all my appointments, interviews, contract jobs, mundane tasks and anything else I can't afford to miss. I don't have to worry about whether it is running or not because I always have a browser open. In fact I spend most of my time on Firefox filling out applications, sending emails and networking on LinkedIn and Facebook so my calendar is integrated with most everything I do.

If I were a Firefox add-on, I’d want to grow up to be ReminderFox. It’s the responsible one – the designated driver of add-ons.
Customize your online experience all you like, but that’s not going to get you out of hot water with your buddies once you’ve forgotten - again - that it was your turn to host poker night.
In fact, I’d say that employing a long list of Firefox add-ons without including ReminderFox is dangerous business. By all means, make your browser pretty. Make it sing to the tune playing exclusively in your own head. Get your Gmail all swanky, your weather reports tailored to avoid goosebumps and frizzy hair, and block every dancing, flashing whatchamacallit to force cyberspace to look like it was created just for you.
Do it. Mozilla makes it easy. And awesome.
But up there in the corner? That cute little string looped into a ReminderFox bow keeps you tied to the other world. You know, the one where you’re supposed to be at the airport at 4:30 to fetch your mother. Don’t leave her hanging around the baggage claim like a forgotten hatbox.
ReminderFox: keeping the real you safe from cyber-you, every day.

Reminder Fox is to be commended, because with this application there is no longer any reason for forgetting important appointments etc., some of which for me, would be quite costly if missed. I also breathe a huge sigh of relief because it takes the headache out of remembering my family's birthdays, and even better, it updates their ages each year automatically. I love how the entire year can be scrolled through very quickly, whereby past and upcoming events can be seen - very useful.

I use this to remind me of things MONTHS away as well as business reminders, appointments and private business (credit card due, electricity, etc). Nothing slips by if it's in reminder fox.
