Hello,
Are you aware of http://www.trustedbird.org/tb/Out_of_Office ? Maybe you could benefit from their experience / developments...
Yupp, I am aware of Out of Office. It actually uses the communication back end developed for this extension.

Mostly works nicely with Dovecot+Managesieve patches. Two small things - often it takes two connection attempts to get the existing rules, for some reason, and it'd be great if the dropdown box to select which server defaulted to the first NON-DISABLED server (in my case, only the third in the list has managesieve capabilities).

Great extension, it'd be even better if you could fix the license as suggested by others here so people can contribute to the code..

Excellent! One of the main reasons I use Thunderbird over Evolution...

Fantastic! No more Sieve script editing in an SSH session...

This is a great start. I have to agree with the previous posters. You should pick a well established license. Your terms are muddled at best. If one wanted to extend your interface to make it easier for end users to configure their filters, I'm not sure it is clear where their work stands.

Really nice addon, keep up the good work.
Needs a better license though.

Tomas, is your software open source or not? It seems like you are saying that it is open source, but that you are asking us nicely not to use it in an open source way? That is no modifications, derivative works or distribution without your permission? Perhaps you should adopt one of the well-known lisences so that folks know what their rights are? See below for the contradiction in your intro on http://sieve.mozdev.org/
"This software is open source, but it remains my intellectual property. Therefore please ask before you modify or use the code for other projects. It is Freeware, this means it is not allowed to sell it and therefore it can't be bought by anyone. "
Thanks for the software (I am ecstatic that someone is writing a sieve add-on for thunderbird!) , but please clarify what your user's rights are (whether the software is free as in freedom, or whether it is proprietary freeware).

This is an invaluable extension for managing Sieve filters directly within Thunderbird. I don't know how I got by without it!
