Inline Browser
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Very nice idea. Looking forward to use this on a big monitor. At the moment I only have a small laptop.
QuickNote
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Yes, these notes are quick notes! This tiny tool is just what I need. Tried Quickfox Notes, but didn't like it, becase it stores the notes in a "Quickfox Notes" bookmarks folder that is not definable or placeable somewhere else. Now I discovered QuickNote and it is the best! I love the ability to open it in a tab and that I can save all notes to text files. The only thing left is, I'd like to know where QuickNote itself stores the notes in the FF profile folder?!

Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I love this add-on. But there is a little bug. I also have the addon "Show Parent Folder" installed. And it doesn't work when the bookmark manager is opened in a tab by "Places in Tab". Any possibility for a bug-fix?

Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Multiproxy Switch is just what I need. A handy proxy switcher without an overload of settings. Slim and useful.
FoxyProxy Basic = 600 kbyte
Multiproxy Switch = 75 kbyte
So, of course I prefer Multiproxy Switch.
Thank you!
Speed Dial
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Oh my gosh! I didn't know that it's so powerful! After playing around with it, I discovered that it is much more than just a page with definable visual shortcuts. Actually, due to the possibility to create groups and have them in small subtabs (you need only one FF tab!), it's the fastest way ever to access your most needed bookmarks. You can even set a link to a group, thus navigating visually through your bookmarks. This is so intuitive and much easier than bookmarks toolbar or anything else. Setting up the whole thing needs some work though, in case you want everything very clean and visually perfect. But after you're done, it speeds up your browser experience a lot! Find thumbnails/logos for your Speed Dial links on userlogos.org or use Speed Dial's built-in function to create web page thumbnails, if you want the easy and fast set-up (but less nice-looking). Awesome! Thank you!

Now I don't have to sort my bookmarks manually anymore. It was so annoying before. Thank you so much for this!
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.4).UnPlug
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I used Video DownloadHelper so far, but it got more and more bloated and looked more spam-like. So I was looking for an alternative and found UnPlug. This is just what I need. Sweet, tiny, powerful and GPL licensed (= more trustworthy). Thanks for this!

Thank you for keeping up former SwitchProxy! Multiproxy Switch is the best and easiest proxy switcher tool!
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.30).keywordManager
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I like this tool. But there is one thing that should get fixed:
When opening the keywordManager, its window shows up very small. And when I resize the window, it doesn't resize properly, that is to say it distributes the space not only to the list but also to grey free space around the search box.
Look this screenshot to see what I man:
tinyurl.com/d9hk3t
This is of course a waste of space, and this way the user has to pull the window very much to get any space at all in the list.
NetVideoHunter
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I prefer this to Video Download Helper, because NetVideoHunter is less bloated. However, it needs improvement still:
1. The video list should be placeable at the bottom. I have 1024x768 resolution and the video names get cut off -- or I have to reduce video to very small size to see the video names in full.
2. I miss entry in Tools menu and optional toolbar button. Entry in tools menu because I use video download only very rare. So for me it's good to keep that hidden from toolbar and statusbar unless I really need it frequently.
3. I miss a download queue feature, so that selected media on the list can be downloaded with a single click, that is to say put on the queue of the download manager.
4. HQ videos on Youtube are not listed by default. You have to click the HQ button at bottom of Youtube videos and then NetVideoHunter will recognize it and increase its counter in the status bar.
5. HQ videos in the list are not distinguishable from videos with the same name that are non-HQ. So you can only find out by having a guess. Maybe it would be nice to see file sizes before download. That would be the best hint to choose what's the HQ version.
6. Would like to be disable the video player functionality in the options, thus saving ressources when not needed.
Apart from those issues, it's a nice addon. Thank you.
Daily Bookmarks
Rated 2 out of 5 stars
1. If you have a tab open and choose 'Open Today's Bookmarks', the current tab doesn't stay.
2. The tags to watch cannot be defined. You can only use 'Monday', 'Tuesday', 'Wednesday', 'Thursday', 'Friday', 'Saturday', 'Sunday'.
3. As tags cannot be defined, they can interfere with other bookmarks that happen to contain any of those tags ('Monday', 'Tuesday', etc.).
4. If one could define the tags to watch, he could make them unique, using something like 'DailyBookmarksMonday', thus making it virtually impossible that they interfere with other tags.
5. 'Open Today's Bookmarks' is not enough. It would be good to have commands for each day. Sometimes you might switch schedules or have a bank holiday. Then you might want to open the 'Sunday Bookmarks' instead of the 'Monday Bookmarks'. I also suggest to provide a few placeholders for user-defined commands ('Open Bookmarks'), so users can set up sth like 'Open Holiday Bookmarks' for example, so when they're on holiday they can open only the bookmarks they want when they're on holiday. Of course, those commands should only be shown in the menu when they have been defined.
MR Tech Toolkit

What's the point of this? Only bloats Firefox, but adds very little. Virtually nothing I couldn't do without this addon.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (6.0.3.3).SwitchProxy Tool
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Still working, although some things are broken, e.g. the Preferences button on the SwitchProxy toolbar. A user can only get there by right-click menu on status bar label or in browser window.
Hope this will be updated soon or that another developer takes the project. Because SwitchProxy still has the best usability for proxy switching for the average user.
SearchWith
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I was looking for an addon that can:
1. search highlighted text via right-click
2. let me customize what search engine to use
3. let me choose from my already installed search plugins
And I tried many addons. They all had some flaw, whether they were not really customizable and/or didn't let me choose from my already installed searches.
"Search With" is the only addon that does the job. So I don't understand the critics. Maybe a competitor?
Anyway, good job! Thanks!
EDIT:
Some suggestions for the user interface:
1. Please add an option to open search in a foreground tab. At the moment it only opens in the background and this is annoying when you want to go there immediately.
2. Management of the services. When adding a service there is a little link to "More engines", thus opening a second subwindow. So then the user has a stack of three dialog windows. It would be better to have one window pane for editing a service on which on the right side it displays the available engines. And then the user can just select in the list of engines on the right side and add them to the left side. Would be much more user-friendly and less confusing.
Thanks for reading!
GDirections
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I have many custom searches added to the upper right search field. I was looking for an addon that gives me easy access to Google Maps via right-click on selected address text. But now it turns out to be totally annoying. When I right-click and select GDirections, a gigantically long list with all my custom searches pops up. This renders the addon to be NOT handy at all. I suggest to add the option to choose in preferences whether to include those searches or not, or even better let select which ones should appear and which should not.

rikaichan
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I love this! It is very useful. The only thing I miss is some indicator to show whether Rikaichan is active or not. Maybe an icon in the status bar or similar. And of course, if toggled, then there should be a check mark in the tools menu to indicate that the toggle is already active.
