Very good idea, but it would be helpful to extract addresses from just single emails instead of complete folders. Maybe this is worth to work on? I would rate 5 stars for it then.

This is exactly the thing I was looking for. I accidently deleted my email list for the mass email program, and I managed to recover the email addresses easily with this. Thanks!

I needed something that did what this add-on describes and this add-on works great for me. This should be a public add-on.

It worked perfectly for me! I used it to prepare a whitelist for my ISP's spam filter.

Excellent tool!! Pity it doesn't seem to follow sub folders but that is easy to solve by running it multiple times. One of those jewels...

I need it badly in 3.0 beta 2
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.4).I don´t entrust my mails a beta version, so I will switch to 3.0 only when the Final is available. Then I will rewrite the addon for 3.0.

My previous corporate email account is about to be closed. Since I used only a web interface I decided to migrate to Thunderbird. I downloaded all messages and address books easily but now want to inform about the my new email address those people whose addresses have been put in the address book. Crawler has allowed me to extract all of them in just a few minutes!

This add-on works beautifully as described and intended.
I managed to collect over 3000 email addresses from my corporate emails & now can create custom lists.
This add-on should be made public.

Gerade beim Export von Outlook oder einem anderen Email-Programm kann man eine Menge Zeit beim Übernehmen der Konaktadressen sparen. Funktioniert prima und schnell!

Excellent add-on. Works as advertised, and very fast. In case of trouble the developer is very responsive!
I exported the generated addressbook in CSV format and looked up all the people in Facebook, worked like a charm.

Works great for extracting email addresses from subsets of emails. For example if you want to send a mass email to certain recipients, put the emails of those recipients into a folder, Crawl the folder and have the Crawler extract the emails into a new address book, then Select All and then Write and viola.
