Does not work on TB 3.1.7 It says it works but the address book is not populated with anything. It stays blank. Shame, I really needed it to work for a Google Groups mailing list I am creating. =(

I have tried it on an newly installed TB 3.1. My address book stays empty, nothing was added.

It does extract some of the e-mail addresses in my Thunderbird mailbox, but it skips a lot of them, so it's not really all that useful.

Works great in Thunderbird 3.1.6.

Very handy addon, although with some bugs:
1) Does not add to an address book addresses that already exist in another book
2) "send email to addresses" is grayed out in TB 3.1.5
If these are corrected then it will be superb 5/5 star rating addon.

It installs and you can right-click on selected folder, it finds (in my case) 112 adresses BUT adds only 7 (!!) of them to the address book .
Also: configuration doesnt work (remains grey, cant select it from add-ons menu)

Did not work in TB 3.1.3 though the app announced it had found addresses. A pity.

Please also add support for adding all incoming+outgoing email automatically without user interaction each time. Thank you.

I have made my 3.1.1 version available on this website, just trying to help out, it worked for me, maybe it can help more people. Try this until the original authors continue their excellent work.

I have made this add-on work on my Thunderbird 3.1 installation. If more people are interested and if the developer has abandoned this project I can fork this to a new add-on so that more people can download the working version.

I have TB 3.1.This looks like just the add-on that I need to optimize my mailing list creation. However, even the newest version (EMail Address Crawler 2.0.0) won't install. Suggestions?

I'm happy to see this updated! 2.0 works on my TB3, and is a godsend after my MAB got corrupted.
Now, I'm thinking, would be very nice to extract other info - like phone numbers!

works well with my TB3.
one little problem:
If you choose to crawl/collect in virtual folders it will not work.
workarround: copy all emails to a "real" folder - and try again.
again: works well
