I like this add-on, it's great. I have problems understanding the running totals. For example, I may have a junk message with a rating % showno in column as maybe 3. Then looking at the tokens for this email may show over a page of tokens starting out with running totals of 85 to 100, then down to 90 or so and ending with 85. Why is it showing 3?

If you care about junk mail filtering at all, install this addon now and take a little time to play with it. It's not very useful until you show the columns for junk probability and junk status in the email lists. Once you do that you'll be encouraged to play with it. Also check out the options panel. It now has lots of good junk filtering stats.
I wish it had a little email with it or something that explains the icons used, but it's pretty intuitive, all in all.
This addon really lifts the vail from just how junk filtering works and gives you control to feel confident in your filtering.
Still two things are needed to make FF junk filtering perfect ..
1. A way to delete problem junk tokens.
2. The junk button needs to change to a thumbs up/thumbs down drop down button. This will encourage you to easily mark emails as "not junk". This is just as important as marking others emails as junk IMO.
This is one sweet addon that I won't be without from now on.

@ MilAdrian, please take a look that this extension actually is the tunned version of the built-in Thunderbird Junk Filter that you can control it via Config Editor, but this is the Easy Way to train the built in junk filtering ;)The same settings you can use via: Tools->Options->Advanced->Config Editormail.adaptivefilters.junk_theresoldmailnews.bayesian_spam_filter.junk_maxtokens!!!BE CAREFUL WHEN USE CONFIG EDITOR!!!

I have been using this extension for 2 weeks now and as far as I can tell, this extension does not work any better than the built in Thunderbird spam filter. No more spam is being routed to my junk folder that with the standard Thunderbird filters alone. An additional column was added for the spam percentage but to date not 1 email has been marked with a spam percentage, even mails that are automatically classified as spam don't get a spam percentage. Very disappointing...

This add-on is indispensable for everyone whose inbox is overflown with spam messages and need Thunderbird junk control to really work.
By using the "Is spam", "Is good" button in the special "Uncertain" folder you train the Bayesian filter with both types of message, which improves the filter efficiency significantly.
Moreover, the add-on allows you to see the probability of message being junk, where does the junk status come from (manual, filter...), ability to set the junk threshold and more.
I no longer check my junk folder and all messages with 98% and higher probability of being spam are automatically deleted - it is that good!

Very nice extension. Works well without any problems so far (TB 3.0). Gives an insight in how TB's handling of junk-mail works.
