PLEASE add more 'favorites' buttons! (and change the actual icon of the favorites - it's hideous). I'm using these buttons to no longer need my bookmarks toolbar, and want a button for Facebook, Hulu, and Weather.com. Or just create buttons for these. Otherwise, fantastic add-on! Thank you!

I was bummed that this stopped working with recent versions, but I followed Robin's advice (thank you!) to add the Add-On Compatibility Reporter. Now it works. This makes little sense to me, but I am happy to be able to restore my familiar buttons.

This is a great extension in Thunderbird! I use it every day, and was sad to see it not working with updated versions of Thunderbird (versions 7 & 8). Missed the functionality Toolbars provided.
But, I installed "Add-On Compatibility Reporter" extension to Thunderbird and now the Toolbars extension (and a few others) works perfectly. Download that extension to solve your update problems.

Could you please put the new tab button back that you took away, or if there never was one, please, make one to compliment the undo and close tab buttons.

I'm miserable, miserable, miserable using Thunderbird 7 without my better buttons. I miss Toolbar Buttons so!
Hoping they catch up with the new version.

This extension is amazing. I am currently using these buttons:
-Stop All
-Get Link From Clipboard (and open)
-Customize Toolbars (very useful, no right clicking on some tiny open space to edit the toolbars)
Even though I don't have the rest of the buttons on my toolbars at all time (thanks to gestures and programmable mouse buttons), there has been many a time where I'll temporarily use the other buttons.
I do wish I could have the option to hide the buttons I don't use. That's probably my only request (besides make more buttons!)

Nice Addon, only Histroy Menu-/History-Dropdown button is missing. Please add it if you plan to update your extension.
Thx

I ♥ it but it needs an update

No problems with the extension.
My problem is with Mozilla because it says Toolbar Buttons is compatible with Firefox v 6.0 on the ADD-ONS website, but it is NOT. Further, it will even let you go so far as to let you download the extension, but then it just sits there grayed out....
I'll change this if Mozilla revises the webpage or the extension is updated to be compatible with Firefox v 6.0+

Agreed, an excellent addon I was sorry to lose after version updates to FF and TB. Changed the maxVersion to 6.0 for both TB V6.0 and FF V5.0.1 and all my previous toolbar buttons reappeared from the old profile. I really missed this as it is the only addon I can find with this functionality.

An awesome add-on to be sure! To Jose, I found a way to make the add-on compatible again if is marked as, "incompatible" WITHOUT having to re-input your icons OR having to uninstall and re-install it! Just open up the Add-on Manager and scroll down to where Toolbar Buttons is greyed out. Click on, "More..", and scroll down and click, "Check For Updates". BINGO! It just re-enabled! Now, close Firefox and open it again! Whattaya know! It works!

Thanks for Laurent (https://addons.mozilla.org/ja/thunderbird/addon/toolbar-buttons/reviews/298992/),
I successfully installed this on TB5.0.
And it works so far :)

As of 3 hours ago, TB stopped working...for no apparent reason. As for my continued use of TB, it ain't lookin' good Mike.

Same as "Femma": Last few weeks I had to re-install it many times, as most of the times I close/reopen Firefox, the addon is off, saying that is not compatible with Firefox 5.0

I am promoting it in my Apollo! Pack collection because it gives tons of spectacular tools and many of them could replace many other apps. I did read the reviews from other users and the real problem is Firefox 4 and 5- not the buttons! I urge people to roll back to 3.6 because it can handle unlimited add-ons and it can handle custom toolbars. FF 4 and 5 simply cannot handle them! You set them up and they instantly have a meltdown! FF4 and 5 are sold as Chrome imitations and sure they are fast- but at what cost? Nobody at Mozilla seems to care about competence anymore with all this rapid release nonsense. If you just want raw speed so you can get a million viruses just get the real deal and run Chrome itself.-At least it is competent for what it promises FF 4 and 5 are like buying a new car that if you take it above 5 mph out of the driveway the wheels fall off... In short- if your add-ons and toolbars refuse to work correctly the problem is Firefox 4 and 5- NOT this add-on. We all need to pressure Mozilla to get back to what made them great in the first place...

Love this, but If I want to use it, I have to install it every time I start firefox.
It works as long as I have firefox open, but it disappear when I close/restart firefox.

...I don't like the icons much. Would love the possibility to pick between different sets of icons.
