I recently installed this reader and I like it. The only feature that I would like to see is a configurable refresh (say, 1 to 120 minutes). Maybe the toolbar icon could flash to show the number has changed recently.

You could define the automatic refresh delay from the option tab in the update menu.

To flash the unread number you could use a pinned tab with the "Tab badge" Firefox add-on.

Need a button to reset prefs to default! Even reinstall do not helps.

I was a long term user of an other feed reader addon, but it turned to wrong direction for me. Then I tried Bamboo.
Good job. Recommended.

在弹窗模式，列表方式下，第一次点击标题时展开显示文章内容，向下拉阅读。
到这里时一切都还很好，但问题在于，阅读过后你想要关掉它、或是在新标签中打开它，还得重新向上拉直到看到标题才行。如果文章比较长，这个过程实在是让人很不爽！
希望在弹窗最上方的工具栏增加针对当前文章的“关闭”“打开”“标记为已读”的按钮。或是显示在文章最下方也行。

I used Brief but was looking for something new, so I've found Bamboo. It's very modern and fast, all my dozens of feeds are loaded almost instantly and not in 10 minutes like in Brief. There are a lot of settings to customize the user interface, like the colors or the size etc... . Very important to me was the feature to display content of feeds. I really like this addon and I think I will use it. Thanks for sharing this addon to the author! But I have to agree with others: A caching system and the ability to delete entries from the cache would be great, with this, bamboo would be the definately best standalone feed viewer for Firefox.

Nice RSS reader, some really nice features. Whats it lacking? Cache. This only displays current articles in the XML feed but doesn't cache articles from previous XML updates. I subscribe to hackaday.com but their feed only shows the current day (about 7 articles) and if I don't get to it every day I lose history of previous articles.

I've installed Bamboo as a replacement for the old Brief feed reader and I like it so far except there appears to be no way to delete individual entries from a single feed list so the list just keeps growing. I can mark each entry in the list "read", "unread" or I can share it but I can't delete it. Being able to also delete entries from a list as I read them would make Bamboo a perfect replacement.

Or am I missing something obvious here? (it's been known to happen).

Thanks a lot for this, using Bamboo now for over a year.
Only thing I'm missing is a simple filter.

I ADORE Bamboo feed reader. It works FAST and reliably. It uses minimal resources and is very easy to manoeuvre. It is all you expect from a feed reader. Adopt! No question about it.

Hi, firstly thanks for this smart & thorough extension, I have few feature request:

Auto update feeds when about:bamboo tab opens

User defined font color, font style and font size for better readability

In list view disable all images option from feeds for faster and cleaner interface

Always show Reader when about:bamboo tab opens

Auto pager function to go next page

Works well, but adjustable feed sizes would be helpful. All I want to see is the feed headline - no pictures, no additional text. That way I can fit a ton of feeds into one page.

You could view only article titles by unselecting article content display:

and you could use the compact mode.

The FireFox project split called Pale Moon works with FireFox extensions. Some extensions need a simple change to install.rdf to work correctly with Pale Moon. You can find more information at: https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=5884 and http://www.palemoon.org/releasenotes.shtml.

I have Bamboo Feed Reading working perfectly with Pale Moon 64 bit, after manually changing the .xpi. Other users may not know how to do this but would love to use Bamboo Feed Reader with Pale Moon.

Complet avec une interface intuitive. Rien à redire si ce n'est que bamboo n'élimine pas les articles doublons (si on suit différents flux d'un même site d'actualité par exemple, on peut se retrouver avec des articles en double).
