Using Fox 3.5.6 and TryAgain 3.4.1,
Fox got freeze while searching for 'Down for everyone or just me?' or 'Uptime Auditor'. (IMHO)
some tuning may required to solve the problems.
Overall, GREAT add-on...thanks.
I'm delighted to say that this problem has been fixed with help from the community in version 3.4.2!

This add on is a must! Thanks for making it :)
But since i installed "Resurrect Pages"*, it doesn't work for me anymore.
Can you please fix that?
I've taken a look into making TryAgain compatible, but as Resurrect Pages replaces the entire error page with its own (opposed to adding controls where needed, as TryAgain does), it's simply not possible. I will contact the developer to see how we can work together.
If you find this to be a blocking issue, please feel free to report it on the support site: http://getsatisfaction.com/tryagain/topics

I love this addon! It does exactly what its supposed to. The new links for google cache and a couple other services are great, very handy! :)

Yes, I am using firefox 4.1 beta and I was waiting for this update but it has a little problem, here is what happens, the firefox shows error "page cannot be loaded, server not found" or "link not available" whatever... right after that this addon refreshes automatically and after that the page starts to reload and status bar shows" looking..." and then if the server is found "connecting to..." but here comes the problem while the page is trying to connect to server the "try again addon" hits refresh again so it again goes back to "looking.." then "connecting..." and then again it refreshes, so therefore page never loads, I hope I had made it clear sir, the previous version works great and its very time saving addon, I hope you can fix it soon.
thanks
Thanks for taking the time to file a report. Fortunately, this problem was already posted on the support site, and should be resolved in the upcoming version. If you still have any problems, please post it on the support site.

There seems to be a problem with the latest update. If a page doesn't load (times out), the add-on does try to reload it but the page keeps trying to load while never actually loading. The status bar keeps fluctuating between "Looking up..." and "Connecting...". This didn't happen with the previous version of the add-on. So, right now, I'm back to the older version. Please fix this if it's a bug in the add-on. Other than that, the add-on is very nice and does its job perfectly.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.3.0).This seems like a bug. I was planning on submitting a new version this week, but I'll postpone that to take a look at this issue. If I understand correctly, when the page successfully loads, TryAgain keeps reloading it? If this isn't correct, please open an issue at http://getsatisfaction.com/tryagain

This is one of my must have extensions and the inclusion of a link to "down for everyone" has just made it even better
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.3.0).Great to hear it! I'm sure you'll be happy with the next version: it automatically checks if the site is available using two separate auditors.

This would be 5 stars if this addon were:
1) updated for 3.6 and
2) included a check with something like "www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com"
This is an excellent idea! I'll try to get in touch with the site owner to get permission and see if there's an API available. Do you know of other such services?

Please update for firefox 3.6!

This extension is quiet useful, however I'd prefer have an per-site or at least per-tab option to enable/disable automatic re-try...
4 stars because of missing that feature.
P.S. works fine with FF3.6 if override the version check with Mr Tech extension (or manually)

I found this very useful because a few months ago Firefox started refusing to connect first time & always gave "Server Not Found". After hours of trying to sort it - unsuccessfully - I found "Try Again" which was an excellent workaround and let my home page load with no need for further intervention on my part. I'd love to see it made compatible with 3.6 !

Works brilliantly, but not on the current 3.6 beta. This is always the first add-on I install!

LOL! This is great. I have a bad internet connection that likes to time out a lot. I get so sick of hitting Try Again several times, and there is an addon to do it for me!
