Sadly, it doesn't work for me. I did the restart and looked for the Colored Folders option, but the option in the drop down menu is greyed out and does not respond. I don't see any other actions to activate this add-on.

is there any way of coloring the folders with a rule, that takes the date of the youngest email in it and applies that value as colorcode to the foldericon? dynamically, so "active" projektfolders stay "bright" and older stuff fades back to default?

Thanks for this EXCELLENT add-on, very useful when one has a large number of hierarchichal folders!
Sadlly enough, Thunderbird has broken it with its new format for add-ons in version 78...
Any hint as of when a version compatible with the new Thunserbird add-on interface may come to life?

Also updated to 78.2.2 and Colored Folders has stopped working. So disappointed. Please update the Colored Folders Add-on. We love this add-on.

Have just updated to Thunderbird 78.2.2. Colored Folders doesn't work on this version. I am lost without it. Please update.

Add-on and developer are awesome!
Any chance to make it work with TB78+, cause the new stock "empty" vector icons are totally crap and the default coloring of their contour through the native TB option is totally NOT user friendly ?

Like how it can work with TB68.12,
but it does not work at all when also using the "Phoenity Icons" Addon.
Maybe there is an obvious reason.
I like the Phoenity Icons on the toolbar better than the colored folders in the "Local Folders" sidebar,
so I am presently disabling the "Colored Folders" Icon.
Problem observed on both of my PCs
(both using up-to-date WIN-10 and TB)

Love the versatility of Colored Folders! It worked great in T-bird 68, but it doesn't come up in the context menu for T-bird 78. Someone else noted the 'colored outlines' for folders, but that is a new feature built into T-bird 78 and not an add-on. It's not a great substitute for Colored Folders, but it works for now. I see that the current version of Colored Folders works through T-bird 73. Hope the developer will update to include v78?? Thank you so much!

I have Thunderbird 78.1.1. I was thrilled when Colored Folders came back, but this time, the folders weren't colored, only the outside shape of the folder was colored. Okay, I guess I will have to live with that. But, everytime Thunderbird updates, the colors disappear and I have to redo each and every one of my folders over and over again. I don't know about you, but I have dozens and it takes a long time to go back and "re-color" each one again. What's up with that? Please fix this as I love to have them colored - and please, redo the app so it colors the whole folder again!!! I have donated to you in the past for this app. I will do so again if you fix this! Thanks.
