Just spent two hours trying to trace the adware that was causing pop-ups on my browser. Finally traced it to this add-on. Needless to say I've removed it, but I hate to imagine how much damage it's done in the meantime.

This is a disgrace! I have used this add-on for years, and now this: It silently turned itself into ADWARE. Some strange pop-up ads are shown and it is hard to pin them down to this add-on. I plead for immediate steps to remove this add-on from Mozilla's official add-on site.

This add-on used to be great. Lately I have been getting this WizeShoppy corner pop-up. Looks like IE View has decided it was a good idea to add adware. NOT A COOL MOVE! Uninstalling. Deserves ZERO stars.

Formerly useful (and had been on my system for several years). But ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE for pushing out adware in an update with no notice whatsoever. Shame.

I also had been happily using this add-on for several years. But this blatant HIJACKING of the software by PPClick so that they could distribute their adware is completely unacceptable, so I'm uninstalling it and switching over to IE View Lite.

This add-on added ad-ware (called WizeShoppy) to my computer that I did not want. It took me several hours to figure out that this add-on was the culprit. Mozilla shouldn't allow add-ons to do that without at least notifying the user! I'm getting rid of this add-on from all my computers. Too bad - it was a good one.

DELETED this add-on because it sneaks extra software onto your computer. The extra software is called WizeShoppy by Superfish. Cannot trust this developer any more unfortunately. Like Randy said, it used to be a nice addon, but not any more. Pity, and SHAME ON YOU DEVELOPER!!!!!

It used to be a nice addon. Dumped it because of the ad crap that now comes with it.

ok to stop the add thing here is email i got back Hi,
We glad you installed our Addon.
We are very sorry to hear that you are disappointed from our new feature.
You must understand that it costs money to keep maintenance and add
improvements to the Addon.
That is why we added "WizeShoppy" which is a useful tool which can save
you lots of money while you are buying via the internet.
We are very sorry you are disappointed from "WizeShoppy" feature but no
harm is done.
In case you want to disable this feature you can do it at the Addon option

adWare superfish.com added after update. It was activated by default. I didn't agree to share my traffic with any shopping search engine.
Plugin uninstalled. Bravo for your lack of wisedom...

Please read "Privacy Policy"! Very first line.
"IE View is working with Superfish to create Wizeshoppy which let you instantly compare prices and see similar items as you shop."
Was a nice add-on, but not any more.(v1.5.5)
It's a shame that we'll have to start reading all "Privacy Policies" for every add-on for Firefox!

With the newest version (1.5.5) comes the addition of WizeShoppy/Superfish. It's an intrusive price comparison overlay that will popup under random images on websites you visit. The addition of this "feature" is completely uncalled for. Even worse it's enabled by default (it should be OPT-IN, not opt-out). Initially one might think that it's some adware type garbage added by websites. It's not blocked by AdBlock automatically, so you may be tempted to go in and block it manually. That does work but the root source is this IE View addon.
Uninstall this pronto and get IE View Lite. It's just amazing and saddening how many people are selling out to include adware in their software.

This add-on was so useful for so long. There were many occasions when I wanted to see something in IE, and these were more in each version of Firefox as each version degrades it more and makes less pages usable in Firefox. But alas, it doesn't work in Firefox 19 despite the latest version being after that version was released.

My company uses several IE-based apps, but I want to use Firefox as my default browser. By adding the addresses for the corporate apps to IE View's white list, it makes things seamless. I don't need to copy-paste links into IE, my apps don't break, it all just works. I'm very happy!
