This is a very nice add-on. The only option it lacks is the ability to sort non-Account folders.
For example, I have an additional `Local Folders' (called `Online Archive'). In order to sort between these two, I use the dated
"Folderpane Tools" add-on.

The idea behind this addon is so simple it makes you wonder why it isn't default behaviour. It's the kind of addon you don't think you need, but would like to have and after you get it, you wonder why you didn't go looking for it sooner.
Truth be told, I came across it by accident and immediately thought how useful it would be to have. Thank you Jonathan!

Works excellent with Thunderbird.
Will it be developed for Seamonkey as well?

I was looking for a thus extension for a long time and I was forced to put some "_" or "Z" to order my folders :-(
Just a suggestion : it could more convenient to order folders with drag & drop (maybe with Alt) or to use a shortcut. It's so possible to reorder without opening the specific window.
Thanks you

Simply works perfect. Cause it allows sorting folders AND accounts, it replaced my former account sorting extension.

Using Ver 0.6.6 in TB 3.1.7
This definitely should be included in Thunderbird by default. Anyone using mail clients I think expects this feature.
It functions great, looks good and has simple useability.
It beats FolderPaneTools 0.6 because:
1. Allows for sorting of folders, not just accounts
2. Has same sorting options, but more sort methods
3. Easy to get to sorting in the Tools menu
4. Better GUI, both in look and function

Hello, Thank you for this grest addon.
I get only one problem, i can not choice a alphabetical order for the subfolder. If i order manually my personal folder (inbox, outbox,sent,...) then if i create some subfolder in the inbox folder, this subfolder are not order by aphabetic. The implemantation could be useful. But it is possible?

Thanks for your work, mozjonathan.
Can I suggest the improvement for the addon?
In the "Smart Folders" view of TB3, addon didn't work. Sorting of folder wasn't affected by the addon. I would be nice if we controll the order of folders even in the "Smart Folders"
Thank you for reading.

This is my favorite Thunderbird extension. This is essential for someone like me who maintains more than ten email accounts. Now I can put the more relevant and active accounts at the top of the list. Kudos to the developer for such a useful extension.

Very happy with it, especially since FolderPane Tools doesn't seem to be working for me any more in TB 3.0.4.
