This tool is nice to get a list of extensions for troubleshooting.
An export in tab-delimited text format would make enhance its use by allowing to import very fast (copy-paste) into a spreadsheet -- for easy sorting (e.g. by installation or last update) and especially for marking dis-/enabled in tests and noting the results of each test.
CSV requires the save-to-file-then-import path. Copy-paste CSV imports every entry into one cell (Excel) or doesn't work (LibreOffice).
Just copy-paste would make a smooth workflow for testing add-on compatibility, where save-then-import quickly becomes a real PITA.

I really like it but but it would be complete if it can list the Greasemonkey Scripts and Stylish Scripts too.

For some reason it showed as unsigned in my list. I reinstalled and everything is good.
Sorry about the false report

In FF 43.01, this extension simply generates an empty box. I have no idea why.

Thank you so much for updating a very useful, almost mandatory extension for Firefox. Good job, it was much needed.

Good idea, but while the extn. is listed in the Add on window, and options can be saved, there is no button or any other visible way to save a list of all extns.
Thanks for help for past versions.

See my and other reviews below. Thanks for the update to prevent the saved files from being marked as read only :-)

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0 SeaMonkey/2.35
Extension List Dumper 2 1.0 downloaded from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/extension-list-dumper-2/?src=search
@Zal: I confirm that the .txt file saved is read-only, but it's always been like that even when he was old author to treat the extension.
Forums, however, do not enclose the list in .txt but through copy and paste (Ctrl + A, Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V) using the contents of the window created by the extension.
Greetings.
@Zal: I've installed the extension of the original author in Firefox 3.6. The error is repeated, and so it is an error this for many years.
I can not find a bug annoying to not be able to overwrite the existing file .txt , just give it another name. But if you know the solution, you could write it, please? Thank you.

At this time my only issue with this updated version of Extension List Dumper is the Read-Only attribute that is applied to saved files. This prevents overwriting a previously saved list and generates a JavaScript Application error:
Component returned failure code: 0x80520015 (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED) [nsIFileOutputStream.init]
What the extension should do is either not set the Read-Only attribute, ask for your permission to overwrite the existing file or give you another opportunity to change the output file name. With the latter defeating the purpose of having a predefined file name configured in the settings. I may tweak the extension to see if I can stop the attribute from being applied.
Ordinarily I would have removed a star due to the error handling. But, because this extension dumper does NOT include a wacky flower background, which all by itself adds one star, the net result is even. ;)
Thank you for reporting. The saved file with the new version 1.0.1 is read and write.

I don't know if you have any influence over it, but when searching for 'extension list' (without the apostrophes) your addon cannot be found. I have no idea why the FF addon search is so crappy, but for your sake maybe you could get the folks at Mozilla to fix it.
There are two things I've encountered which I might suggest improving, and they're minor:
1. Some kind of message that when a list is generated, that it has actually been generated. Currently, it just does it (thumbs-up for that :) ), but you have to go and look for the list to know it was generated.
2. If there were an indicator on the popup saying which list will being generated, it would be more user-friendly. When on the plugins page if I click to generate a list, the popup tile is "Extension List Dumper", but seeing the word "Extensions" irritates until you read through the preview to see which list is actually being generated.

It won't print a list longer than one page.
