Althought it is stated that this add-on doesn't works on SeaMonkey 2.33, it is working.
Also, it is better to download the new updated user-agent strings throught the link provided on the Options dialog box.

This add-on is working well for me emulating a mobile device on my desktop to benchmark search engine results in preparation for Mobilegeddon on 21st April.

I use Waterfox as my main browser and there is one site I use for work that insist you use Internet Explorer. I tried using IETab addon which almost worked but wouldn't display the login boxes making it useless. With User Agent Switcher all I have to do is select IE as the user agent and the site is ully accessible with no need to fire up Internet Explorer. Great addon which makes things so much simpler for me.

The developer posted a comment in 2013 saying an update was coming in early 2014, but it never did. There are basic features, like the ability to set a default user agent and have it be persistent, that would be nice. The list of user agents is maintained by another person.
It seems the developer of this addon is either too busy or has lost interest.

Easy to use add-on and the most important is that it's working 100%!
Excellent! :)

Espero que en verdad funcione, pues uno a veces quiere ocultar la identidad, como lo puede hacer desde hace mucho con el navegador Opera... ¡el que siempre solía llevar la delantera!

It really comes in handy.

Testing is easier with this extension. I like the easy way of downloading a big number of user agents and importing it to the addon. It's definitely worth it.

Very helpful addon, thank you!

It gives us a big hand for testing. No more different browsers opened for same reason. It's enough to check the user agent of any of your installed browsers, import them to this extension and go for it only in Firefox.

I love it, it's very useful and also you can import different user agents and make tests with them. You can track how your product will act in different cases. Awesome!

Probably there are better extensions as the other users say, but I'm satisfied and I got used to working with this one very fast. Yes there are no instructions but this only image shows enough. All options are comprehensible and the design is intuitive. It does what I need to do.

Nothing like the Chrome user-agent switcher plugin, the latter allowing user agents to be selected based on URL patterns etc.

It works well. Getting it setup initially takes some time, since you have to hunt around to find the various User-Agents that you're interested in. Also would be nice to include an indicator icon to remind you when the extension is active.
