This add-on is great and is always up to date right to the minute. I got a local severe weather alert on this before I got it on my emergency alert radio, I really like it.

I had to disable ForecastFox after I moved to a place with the Norwegian special character "Ø" in it.
It causes ForecastFox to freeze Firefox at random times for 30 seconds to 1 minute, and when Firefox comes "back alive", the Forecast button in the bottom right pops up with no forecast, 0 temperature and no characters..
After disabling ForecastFox, the problem disappeared.
Also, I'd like to launch a request for a LITE version of ForecastFox, I only want Temp and Weather, I don't need satellites, radars, and other fancy features.. I know it's possible to turn off, but I liked it better when it was simple and plain. :D

I love how it's so customizable so it doesn't have to interfere with your pre-established firefox zen and so it can show as much or as little weather as you want it to. It's accurate as far as I can tell, and doesn't even cause random crashes!

The previous reviewer is mistaken: if you dig deep enough into the menus you can customise ForecastFox to show almost any unit you like for temperature, wind speed etc.

Very well produced add-on. Would be very useful if it had option of being able to use UK units of mph and Celsius for wind speed and temperature.

Great module. It it fully localized and knows even my little town in French Brittany, which is nice.
DON'T DOWNLOAD THE SO-CALLED "i10l" VERSION WHICH IS A FAKE !

Thought I'd add a note to my previous review...
We are having severe thunderstorms where I live, and sure enough it shows it on my window. We also have a weather alert going on, and it shows that also with a red exclamation mark.
To those who find it not showing correct info, maybe double check that it has the right zipcode for your area.

This is a great add-on. Very unobtrusive, just sits there in the bottom of the window. It shows current weather, and 2 days forecast if you want. And you can click on the green button and it brings up an entire weather page.

I havent even got further, after I noticed that the forecast is not accurate for my geo location.
It's been raining for 6 hours and I got "Now: Clear" in my office :-)
All the features are useless unless they achieve the main goal.
If they change the provider, they might be better off.

Love the program. It's simple, effective and easily customizable but accuweather.com's weather is waaaaay off. At least it is for my part of the country. I'm forced to use a forecastfox l10n as it uses the more accurate (for me) weather service.
